These clubs are tremendous, any shots from the sweet spot results in an unbelievable sensation, it really does almost feel like you've missed the ball, plus you won't understand what good feedback can be unless you've tried these irons for yourself
only regret is that I wished I'd known about these irons when they
first come out, really enjoying my golf now...
For me the balance felt spot-on with true temper steel/regular shafts
no vibration at all, and oh so solid...

My clubs are 3* upright with Rifle 5.5 shafts. For the first time in my life I have complete confidence hitting a 3I. They are accurate, consistent and when struck right have such great feel that you just don't want to make any bad shots. I'm even hitting my driver better.

These are tremondous irons. After I had them adjusted, they work like a charm. No significant gain in distance, however , the trajectory and accuracy has improved. I can now hit a 3 iron with confidence. The feel is what really makes these clubs. You always know where you hit the ball on the club. For the price, I have never made a better purchase. If you are looking to ease into the forged arena, this club is for you.

These clubs are so easy to hit well it is scary. First time I have used a forged iron and I doubt I will ever be able to go back to cast. Mizuno does everything fist class from the heads to the Sensicore shafts. I am able to work these irons so much easier than my previous iron sets. Feel is great and so is trajectory. Foregiveness is very good. The only thing that kept me from buying these sooner was the price, until I purchased a used set on Ebay. If you are looking to get to the next level in your game, these clubs will be the ones that will help you do that!

These are the best clubs i have ever hit. They are more forgiving than Hawkeyes, yet as workable as MP33's. I am yet to miss the sweet spot. I have moved up distance about 3 clubs. Burner Tours are horrible by the way.

Great set. i got these used with with X-100 steel shafts for $360 and they are well worth the price. These clubs are forgiving yet it is very easy to control the flight of the ball. Miss hits arnt harsh and when you hit them on the screws, unbelieveable. They are longer and more accurate than my previous set. From PW - 3 the best irons i have used.

I've played Armour 845 Silver Scotts for the past 8 years - and have liked them, but it was time for something new. After trying about 10 different iron sets, the Comp EZ's won out over Apex plus irons. Essentially, both felt great, but the Comp EZ's were less harsh than the Hogans on miss hits - to clarify though, both are great clubs, I just felt more confident with the Mizunos.

The staff at Pro Golf Discount was great setting a set up for me - Thanks. PS if you are looking for clubs - this site is great, but keep in mind, most reviews are positive on the clubs the purchaser selects - do go out and test as many sets as you can. Also, if you are really getting the set you want, don't let +/- $100 be the difference - get what you want.

Of all the clubs I tried on the range (I tested them all in one day at the same time.) these Mizunos felt the best for me. I like the solid feel of the clubs. In the past few months I have grown to love these clubs.

I shoot in the low 80s high 70s, I couldnt have found a sweeter club. With a perfect swing through the ball the sweet spot is so soft it almost feels like you've missed the ball!!

The guys a Colorado Golf Center in Ft Collins are great! Thanks alot!

Model Reviewed: Mizuno EZ Comp W/RIFLE 6.0

These are very forgiving irons with good feel. The Rifle shafts are a good match, although some feel is taken away compared to dynalite golds w/out sensicore.
I have heard a rumor that Mizuno is going to phase these irons out, and the announcement is coming next week. I hope that it is not true. Or, if they are going to be phased out, I hope that they are replaced with a similar forged model (Mizuno already plans to introduce a cavity back-but this replacement is not a good one for the Comp EZs). Any feedback on the rumor is appreciated.
By the way, someone mentioned that these clubs are 2 degrees more upright than standard. That is not true. These clubs are actually flatter than most other clubs. For example, an EZ Comp six iron is 60 degrees compared to a ping six iron which is 61.5 degrees. However, Mizuno states that other factors such as sole weight, etc. can make the flatter specs. appear to be less flat in reality.
