Awesome irons, much better then any other irons I have hit including Taylormade 320s,Callaway pro series and Adams tight lies. So soft but also plenty of distance. Not as forgiving as some but rewards good shots so makes you a better player. Similar Products Used: Taylormade 320, Callaway Pro Series, Adams Tight Lies. |

I have now played for about a year (80 rounds) with these clubs so my review on this club is not a first impression. They are a very gook looking club with a midsized nicely forgiving head and very slight offset. In my opinion they would be great clubs for any golfer who is between a 15 and 5 handicap. They are very consistent with high ball flight (almost to high at times) but if you want to hit high soft landing low irons these are for you. Distance is about 1/2 a club shorter than most sets (you will lose 3-5 yards). Accuracy is also good and working the ball is easy. These are not they best set of clubs out their but if you are a 15 handicap or under the consistency of this club would benfiet you. Feel is very good, not to harsh but w/ feedback. Overall a very CONSISTENT club with good accuracy but you will lose a little distance. They are worth a try. A good looking club. What I have was a Rifle 5.5, feel too heavy. good feel if you hit sweet, tried a midsize from a friend it's more forgiving. Never buy this club on Rifle shaft heavy and vibrate a lot Customer Service not tried Similar Products Used: Titleist DCI 962, Ben Hogan Apex Edge Pro |

This iron gives me a much better feel than my previous set. I hit the ball much straighter, longer, and higher with them. The feel is incredible with, and they are very realiable. I posted a 70 last sunday with them. My previous irons only ever got me to a 79 last season. |

Maxfli Midsize Revolution irons (R300 shafts)
Picked them up (look new) for $190 (2-PW) on eBay! Cheap sets can be found! I find that I tend to hit the ball a little straighter and about half a club shorter than my X-14's. I've also noticed that short irons have a higher trajectory and as a result, fall short in the wind. Because of these clubs I now know what "feel" is. X-14's are a lot more muted, almost _too_ soft compared to these. You get the right amount of feedback w/ out being harsh with these irons. Off center shots are dull "thuds". Shots off the toe don't stray too far. Club heads are nice and heavy so you can feel where it is in the swing. For the money, can't be beat. Can be considered a "players" club because of the reduced offset. I can't really work the ball so straight is fine w/ me. If you can shoot low 90's don't be afraid to swing these. Broke 90 the very first time I went out and played these irons. Similar Products Used: Callaway X-14's, Taylor Made Ti Bubble 2 irons. |

Accuracy is the best attribute. Distance isn''t as good as my previous irons. I had knockoff Tommy Armours. These aren''t as forgiving as full cavity-back irons but they offer better feel for well struck balls. The setup/address is very good. It has a thin top line. Just enough offset but not too much. These are good irons for the money. Their are better irons but you have to pay twice as much. These are very competant for the casual golfer, such as myself. Customer Service N/A |

These irons created a break-through in my game. The EI-70 graphite shafts were ideally suited to the well-balanced light weight (for improvement irons)head. Nice feel and easy to hit. The PW was very accurate and no matter what swing ended up at 100 yds. Long irons were a "Revolution" 3 and 4 so easy to hit that a 5 wood wasn''t needed. Everything is past tense because they were stolen in April. I liked them alot and would recommend them to any mid-high handicapper. They are a great deal for around $300.00. I''ve been unsettled with irons for a while now. Had some Taylor Made Firesole Tours which were nice but lacked distance, so moved to Fatshaft 2''s. Plenty of distance but zero feel, especially the short irons (PW yuk!). Heard good things about the Revolutions so picked up an almost new second hand set from golfbidder.co.uk (great site for you Brits reading this). Revolutions have classic looks, almost blade like, and sit beautifully behind the ball giving great confidence. Excellent feedback from well struck shots and none of the bonejarring I got from off centre strikes on the Fatshafts. Rev''s are very accurate and consistent on distance (only around 5yds lost against the Wilsons). I have the steel Dynamic Gold R300 shafts fitted which give nice balance. Alround a great set of clubs and the short irons are a dream, plenty of feel. Sadly out of production now (replaced by the Rev midsize and the A10) but if you are a mid to low handicapper and can get hold of some ex-demo or nearly new, it could be the bargain you are looking for. I can see me using these for a long time. Customer Service Not required yet Similar Products Used: TM Firesole Tour |
