Easily one of the best deals in golf, if a set can be found, since these irons are discontinued. My goal was to find inexpensive, quality irons that I could use to develop my game, and these clubs passed all criteria and saved me a ton of money. The multilayer construction is very soft on the hands, even with distance balls, and provides very good feedback. The cavity back heads forgive miss-hits, but they set up like my AC-108 blades with minimal offset. My set included TT Dynamic Gold reg. flex with GP tour velvet grips. The grips seemed long to me, but that was a bonus, since I should be using a 1/2" shorter club. I didn't have to get the set cut down and regripped, read: saved $90. Get iron covers with these clubs! The soft multilayer construction is vunerable to nicks and bumps. The chrome finish is very attractive, yet simple. No trendy medallions, decals or 3D surfaces will be found on these irons. The gap, sand and lob wedges are equally hansome. Too bad I already invested in my wedge set! Customer Service None Similar Products Used: Maxfli Tour LTD, Titleist AC-108 |

I have read many of the reviews, and I must agree. These are a very very pleasant surprise. I demoed a set of DCI 990's and I like the Maxfli's much better. They are very asthetic looking, easy to set up to the ball, and comes off the club like lasers. I do not understand why Maxfli doesn't market this club more. The best clubs at less than half the price. My handicap has fallen approx. 5-7 strokes. Nice job Maxfli, please don't discontinue this club Customer Service Why patent the multilayer technology if you discontinue the product? Similar Products Used: Lynx Black Cat,DCI 990(demoed) |

Simply put; Greatness Had these for a year now and still love them everytime i adress the ball. none of that offset you get with any other cavity back, virtually none. was going to purchase blades becuse i hate giant offset cavity backs, but not now. Look like blades at setup, easy to work like blades, great feedback, they just don't penalize you as much. This is by far the best set of irons that I have ever hit. It has a very solid feel and allows for you to work the ball a bit. I have been able to drop my score by 10 strokes in very short time with these clubs. I highly recommend them! Similar Products Used: Cobra II Oversized. |

I was drwan to the stunning looks of these clubs and the fact that they were one of the only new sets of left handed clubs available at the time!. But saying that, I haven't been dissapointed, they feel much softer than my previous cast clubs and perform equally as well. I was initially concerned that I was hitting them shorter but a comparison on the range quashed those thoughts. Much more feel around the greens when chipping which can only help my pathetic short game! Great clubs and at this price (£245) I couldn't go wrong. Customer Service Not used yet. After reading all of the rave reviews on this website I figured I would demo the revolutions just to see what all the fuss was about. I'm sorry to say, but they were very disapointing. I am currently playing a set of Mizuno MP 29s and they are head and shoulders above the Maxflis. They do set up nicely with the minimal offset and thin topline, but the feel is terrible. The only way someone could like the feel of these is if they are used to playing with cast irons. Do yourself a favor and get some forged irons and you will discover what a true iron shot feels like, unfortunately Maxfli Revolution is not it. One plus however is the price of these cannot be beat. I have now been playing these clubs for about a year and they get better and better. When you hit from the middle it is just so soft - the power just flows through the club into the ball. Clubs are reasonably forgiving but really favour the clean shot. They setup beautifully - I hate offsets and these have none. The topline is nice and sharp and they give you great confidence when setup behind the ball. Customer Service Not used yet. Outstanding! Great feel, very accurate, and very forgiving for a non-offset minimal cavity iron. Set up is very blade like, thin top line and easy to align. I'm very dissapointed that they stopped making these. Best iron I've ever played. If you can find a new set pick them up, best value out there right now. Great feeling when hit well. Not forgiving and very heavy. Great looking and inexpensive. Can shape shots well and high trajectory for easier play. Similar Products Used: Cobra SS, Titlest 990's(better than these) |
