In the Fall I played with somebody who was using The Maxfli Revolution (Red Dot) clubs and he gave me the opportunity to use them during the round. They were amazing. I recently bought a set on eBay and as luck would have it the weather has warmed up to a point where I was able to get out and use them. The Midsize is extremely easy to use. It sets up almost intuitively. The top line is perfect not too wide. The feel is very close to that of a forged club. I found the distance to be excellent considering that the clubs do not have the strong loft angles that seem to prevail on many clubs designed for mid-handicappers. The trajectory is mid-high with soft landings the rule. YES, YOU CAN WORK THE BALL!! Bottom Line: Maxfli missed the boat in failing to promote these sticks....they are a great bargin for any experienced golfer.

The Maxfli Revolution''s are the best mix of attributes of any irons ever made. They are long, forgiving, and they look and feel like a blade. If your thinking about buying blades, buy these instead. Great value too.

I am a LH and we don''t have the luxury of trying before buying. Did my research and I''ve finally found an affordable (almost cheap) iron set (2-SW) that is hands down the best looking, feeling, performing, consistent clubs I''ve ever played. I get compliments all of the time. I waited over a year for LH availability and finally ordered a set with Dyn Gold S300(Sens). Within three weeks of purchase, I shot back to back 71, 72(my two lowest rounds). I don''t get to play as much now and I''m considering R300 shafts over the S300 (any thoughts?). Can''t believe there is a better club at less than twice the price. Playing is believing; these irons just don''t get the publicity/marketing. If Maxfli had the marketing that Titleist, Hogan, etc. has, these would be the best selling clubs.

Customer Service

Excellent! I mailed in my receipt and received a free Maxfli Standbag during a special promotion.

Fabulous. Lovely setup - looks like a blade, easy to line up, no bits protruding. Very good strong trajectory very good distance, 1 club more than my t-zoids, blade sandwedge is brilliant, just the right size and bounce for fairway and rough, pitching wedge is really easy to use for full or pitches from 50-60 yards. Very soft feel, very tough on balls with square looking groves. unusually all the irons look like a natural progression from one another not 3 mini sets. Great grips and the dynalites are good too. These are the hidden gems of todays market, like the original parallax were, nothing flashy but no need of the hype.

I''ve played every major brand of club on the market. Last week I pick up the Revolution 3-pw. If you have read any of the 79 reviews before this one, this is a ditto of it all. Maxfli--if you people quit manufacturing this iron, you better move to Japan, all of us will come hunting you down. Clubs don''t get any better than this, I''ve found my irons. Popular or not popular on the course.

Excellent set of clubs. They feel very soft and my yardage is very consistent. Working the ball for draws and fades is a dream and the clubs seem to know what I want to do before I strike the ball

This is a holy Sh*t iron set!

I changed from an old set of King Cobra oversized irons to these. BIG change.

These irons are just a bit heavier than the cobras, which is a plus. They have the classic head design. The sweet spot is tremendous!

My ball flight is really straight, and sometimes i like a fade. These irons compliment that nicely. I've played 6 rounds with them now, (i'm still adjusting but) and these irons are the real deal! im crushing the long irons about 5-10 yards farther than the cobras. they have a consistent strong feel to them. very workable too.

the setup to these irons are amazing. Everytime i setup to the ball i feel amazingly confident. I know its mostly mental but these clubs make it easy to setup to the target correctly.

the maxfli velvet grips are incredible. very consistent.

the shafts i have on them are stiff flexed. but they feel easy to swing, not too rigid or too stiff.

my swing is around the 95-105 mph mark at the impact. so the shafts are a good match.

the spin is great for the short irons too.

i have bought a Cleveland 900 Form Forged SW 54* Gunmetal and an Adams Faldo LW 60* to compliment the set.

overall= A+++

Model Reviewed: Revolution Midsize Black Dot

Just recently purchased the Revo's Midsize Black Dot (wat's the difference between the black and red anyway?) with Precision Lite stiff shafts, and it's been excellent. Having only ever used 'game improvement' clubs since I started i.e. Ping eye2 and TA 845's, it took quite a bit of getting used to. The 'chromey' look and the minimal offset took a bit of adjustments, but it's so much easier to work the ball now, and with the shaft combo, the ball flight is higher, which meant that the ball just drops on the green. The feel of the club is excellent, so everything is going fine so far.

These clubs have taken the place of my X12s in my bag. I got them secondhand in great condition for less than half price. The clubs have tightened my swing and I can't go back to the x12s now which in my hands are shorter and paradoxically harder to hit. This observation must be a confidence thing. I am much more sure of hitting the ball precisely with the revolution and I also know when I do or where when I don't. Pure hits are what you play golf for, they don't come purer than these.
