Decided to go with a forged club to see if I could make some drastic improvemnet in my game and have some fun trying out a new set of irons. Have played with Ping Eye 2 for past 12 years. Tried out titleist, mizuno and hogans. The MacGregors were somewhat of an after thought. I was amazed whan i hit them. Solid feel and consistent hits. And they were the most reasonably priced. Played about 12 rounds this year and easily have knocked off a few strokes and winning a few more of my Sunday morning matches. The custom fitting was key. Customer Service Outstanding service from Joe and Leighs in So Easton, MA. Clubs were in sooner than expected. |

Outstanding...best clubs I've ever hit. I bought these slightly used off E-bay.These clubs inspire confidence,I was attacking the pins like never before, and was pleasantly rewarded. My shots land soft as a butterfly, I've never been able to shoot like this before. Do yourself a favor...Demo these today. In my opinion theyre the best kept secret in golf!!Macgregor is back, and in a BIG way. Customer Service Never had to use |

With out a doubt the best clubs I have played. And I have access to just about everything out there! Ordered with Flighted Rifles 6.0, 2* upright. Perfect ball flight for me, long. Very forgiving while accurate. Long irons to short irons inspire confidence. Of course looks and quality are second to none. Feel is solid, solid, solid buttery with great feedback Customer Service Again, don't know where the problems others have mentioned came from. All questions answered by a helpful staff. Again stock shafts switched, 2* upright and all done perfectly in a timely manner. Better than the experiences I've had with Titleist, TM and especially Hogan. Beautiful and very efficient. Good distance and awesome feel. Very forgiving and able to work the ball. Bought these with Flighted rifle 5.5. Despite being very forgiving, these work fine even with a 6 hcp... Customer Service I don't understand the problems people have. I called their customer service and spoke to Scott who was very helpful to assist me in fitting the clubsin a friendly and competent manner. the clubs were delivered as requestedcustom fitted within 10 days Similar Products Used: MIzuno MX20 - extraordinary , slightly less feel, but as effective, Hogan Apex Edge - beautiful , perfect feel, but less forgiving. |

These golf clubs are amazing, rated 5 no question, but, unfortunatly the company customer service sucks. Customer Service No reply to any correspondence. Rating is lower because of their poor customer service. Similar Products Used: Ping eye 2,Taylor Made Firesoles. |

I tested these against the Titleist 690CBs and was impressed by how nice these felt and how easy they were to hit. I was all set to purchase these until I dealt with customer service. Customer Service These guys are just plain unresponsive. I had questions about shafts and sent them notes asking them to respond so I could make my purchase decision. No response---even when I mentioned that I was a loyal Titleist user who was going to switch. They may have a great product, at least they say they do, but now I'm not sure. Instead I just bought a set Titleist 690CBs. Similar Products Used: Titleist 690MB, 690CB, Cobra forged, Hogan Edge Pro |

WOW!! What a set of sticks!!I'm 74 years young, and have seen my handicap grow from a 5 to a 13+ over the last 10 years - that is til now. I've played 10 rounds with these irons, and 5 of those rounds I've shot my age or better. One of those rounds, my career best, was a 67! Hey folks, thats 7, get that, 7 under my age! Sure, I had a "hot" putter that day, but you've got to hit the greens to sink the putts. Hey, I'm having fun again! Customer Service No need Similar Products Used: I used to change irons as often as most guys change underwear - not any more! |

I've been playing an off-brand cavity back and recently decided to upgrade. I hit Cleveland's, Titlest, Taylor Made, etc., but didn't like anything better than my old ones. Then I hit the MacGregors and fell in love. More forgiving and longer than anything I've ever hit. I got mine with graphite...tremendous clubs. Customer Service N/A |

I've spent the last few years trying to replace my Mac CB95's. Finally, via Maxfli and Golfsmith, I end up back at MacGregor. These are exceptional sticks with great feel and incredible tracking. Shot a 76 and 77 in the first 4 games I played. Other 2 were mid 80's. I can't say I was swinging very well either. They just gave me more than I probably deserved. This company is amazing...a true smaller attitude built on quality product. I don't think I could own a finer set of clubs. It's great to see, in the world of mass marketing, there are still a few companies like Mac that focus on their knowledge and "quality" to bring more to the table than hype and shareholder value. Mac forever. 70's all season for 2003. Customer Service When you build a club of this quality who needs customer service? I assume they will be as good as their clubs. I just purchased these off ebay for a song. They are replacing my mizuno tzoid pros. With the birth of my son my golf time is dwindling rapidly as my handicap rising from +1 to 2.5 would attest. I was looking for a forged cavity back and tried many. Besides being an absolutely beautiful set of sticks they are easy to hit as well as easy to work both ways. Definitely more forgiving than the other models I have been demoing (hogan edge pros, maxfli A10's, etc.). Shots hit a little thin still climb thanks to the weighting of these clubs. Long irons are a snap to hit. They have the feel of a true forged club which was a pre-requisite for me. These will be in the bag for a LONG time....A steal at that price (they were brand new)... Customer Service excellent Similar Products Used: titleist 762, 990, mizuno tzoid pro, hogan apex edge pro, maxfli A10. |
