TA 5 Gun Metal Steel Sensicore Regular
I loved the MacGregor PCB's for feel/playability/looks, but i couldn't resist the GunMetal finish. I have owned several sets of irons over the past 5 years (i'm crazy). These will be my last set for a while. Clev improved on what was already a great club (reg TA 5). The TA 5's are loaded with game improvement features which are subtle. The look from the finish is striking. Cleveland could easily charge between $600-700 for these clubs like TM and callaway does. Without a doubt, the quality and technology is equal to the Callaway/Ping/MacGregor. Similar Products Used: X-14, I-3, TM 300 forged, Mac PCB's (PCB's are so underrated) |

TA5 Gunmetal with Sensicore Steel Shafts R-flex
I have graphite Hawkeye clones and I hit these steel shafted clubs just as far!!! On my old set, my graphite 6 iron is two inches longer than my TA5 steel 6 iron. Yet, my TA5 6 iron is just as powerful!! These clubs are balanced well. They are shorter and easier to hit. The True Temper Dynamic Gold Sensicor shafts are some of the best on the Market. After discussions with several PGA Professionals and Club fitters. These clubs are the "Biggest Bang for your buck!!" Mark Brooks played with the TA5's at the 2001 US OPEN. He came in second. I'm sure all the pro's can play with any club for free. Mark chose the Cleveland TA5 clubs. Nuff said!! What about value? You can't beat it!! For $470 bucks (that's half the price of the Taylormade 320's, Mizuno Comp E/Z clubs) you get a club that just performs just as well. Purchased and played these clubs yesterday, best round of golf I've ever had. I was surprised and pleased at how well they hit. I purchased them solely on the reviews I read hear. Probably the best investment I've ever made in golf equipment. I hit them at least 10-15 yards further than my old clubs, extremely accurate, looked great at address, and there was absolutely no vibration (stinger) transmitted to my hands. No such thing as a miss hit, even a duff shot with the 4 went 130 yards. I've been shopping for irons for about six months now, I tried the Callaway Hawkeye’s and x-14's, pings, Adams, Hogan’s, and Mizuno's, but only the Mizuno's and the x-14's felt and hit similar but were at least $250 more. Cleveland has hit the mark with these clubs, let's hope they don't decide to get greedy and raise the price! Similar Products Used: None |

For years I played with Browning 440's which I loved because they were "bottom heavy." Yet, because they were radically low profile, they sucked in the rough. I demo'd many irons and went for these, with graphite shafts. They look great at address; when hit right, they lift the ball and are accurate. I couldn't be happier. Classic look and forgiveness. Who could ask for more? Similar Products Used: None |

Cleveland TA5 Gunmetal with Rifle sharts
I've played about a dozen rounds with these clubs and love them so far. I tested a number of different clubs before making my purchasing decision and was really impressed with these clubs on the range. I was anxious to get them out on the course and really put them through their paces. They haven't disappointed one bit. They set up beautifully, practically swing themselves and produce an ideal (for me)shot tragectory, high and boring. I hear a lot of low handicappers talk about the importance of being able to "work" the ball and "shape" shots, which these clubs do, particularly right to left (and I hit a natural fade) and knock downs. But what I like best is that when needed, which is most of the time, these clubs produce dead STRAIGHT shots. Pured shots, God love 'em, feel like butter. These clubs have the closest feel to forged of any cast club I have hit. Mishits are forgiven nicely without too much loss of distance or direction. Toe hit's are particilary easy to get away with. All in all these are really sweet sticks. They are definitely game improvement irons that will pay big dividends to mid-high handicappers looking to improve their games but there is more than enough performance built into these clubs for low handicappers to appreciate as well. Can't beat the price either...go get 'em! Similar Products Used: Evo V25, Mizuno Comp EZ, APEX Edge, DC 990 |

These clubs are easy to hit, but they do not give you any feedback. If you are a mid-low single handicap player these babies are not for you. Take my word for it. Weekend hackers will love these clubs. Customer Service none Similar Products Used: Titleist LCG, King cobra, Ping I3 blade. |

I found these clubs to be a great improvement point in my game. (used to play northwesterns) These clubs ger the ball higy, and fast! To me, there didn't appear to be any lack of distance either. Even the long irons can be hit with beauty. The only down side is the cleveland grips that they come with. I needed to get them regripped soo after purchase(terrible in wet conditions) If you are a mid to high handicapper who can't afford a $800-$1000 dollar set of clubs, these are right up your alley!
