Don´t ever buy this clubs. Even playing with a set of Wilson clubs - aka "La estaca" - feelings were much better and I had better results.
Of course, they are great looking irons and match perfectly with my BMW M6, but when it´s time to hit the course, you better start running because it's "ridiculuous time".

Customer Service

I tried to take them back the next day I bought them for half the price they cost. They offer me a set of McGregor instead.

I just got these irons and I love them. They play one club longer than my previous irons. They are extemely forgiving. They also help generate more spin. I would recommend these irons to anyone looking to improve their game.

Model Reviewed: Ping G-10 Driver

Just purchased the G-10 Driver 9* with Ping TFC stiff shaft. Nice kick from the shaft. Don't rule out this stock shaft as it may surprise you with how lively it feels. Easy to hit straight as long as you take a smooth swing with decent tempo. Club face feels very solid with good spring off the face. Good trajectory and distance without feeling like you have to try to muscle the ball. A very understated classic look to the club/shaft combo as well. Even has a very cool head cover-- Ping good job you've obviously done your homework on this one!

Customer Service

Web site and customer service very helpful.

Model Reviewed: X-20, 5-pw with uniflex shaft

I just picked up a set of x-20's to replace a set of Taylor Made r7 irons. The uniflex shafts fit a wide range of players and is probably the equivalent of soft-stepping a stiff shaft. This is one of the best feeling cast clubs I have ever hit. Do the Mizuno muscle backs and blades feel better? Sure. Are they meant to be compared? No!! I decided on this set since 90% of my shots are meant to go straight. So why make 90% of my game more difficult by buying a muscle back? This club feels great for a cast club, is easy to hit high and is very forgiving. My second choice would have been the Cobra S9. I wanted to also like the Callaway x-18 as the price was more attractive, but the x-20's felt better. That club feels great but had a slightly heavier feel than the x-20's. My only complaint with the x-20's is the amount of offset. My ball flight is typically straight or a slight draw. I'm not too concerned about the amount of offset because the ball is going to fly straight when hit square, which is the ultimate goal. If you're in the market to change irons I would highly recommend trying the x-20's.

Customer Service

I've had Callaway products in the past and they have always provided excellent service.

Excellent set, but be ready for a high ball flight. I played Mizuno forged for the last three years but, being a club junkie, I was ready to try something new. After seeing the reviews and hitting them, I bought a set and went straight to the course. Hit the ball flush and it has a near-forged feel. Hit it off center and it gives very acceptable results; a slight loss of yardage, but the line stays true. The ball flies higher than I'm used to, so I'll have to learn to play them in the wind. The flip side is that they sit down soft, so attack the pin !!! I've come to appreciate the long and mid irons in particular, but the entire set is as balanced and solid as they come. They won't perform miracles, but they will help your game. If you're expecting to drop 10 strokes immediately because you switched to the X-20's (or any other club), you're mistaken. You'd be better off getting a few lessons. However, if you have a decent swing, you certainly can't go wrong with these.

I recently purchased these irons and I have to say there awesome. My previous set was the X-14's. The X-20s are lighter and more forgiving. They feel great on well struck balls and the feedback on mis-hits isn't horrible. I now hit the ball father and straighter then I did with my previous clubs.

I was fitted at The World of Golf on 47th St and Lexington Avenue in Manhattan. The fitters name is Matt and he was great.

I have been a loyal Ping fan for years with several models. The 20's just felt better balanced to me. I have used them for about 6 months now and have dropped 2 strokes on average. I have finally broke into the 70's many times. The long irons are the best I have found. I am back with a golf pro and hope to continue to improve.

Best are, balance and forgiveness.

Pings are my comfort zone for confidence. 320's were sweet but they were alittle over my ability. Hogans were to straight and unforgiving for my ability.

How does someone (D. Maclean) who can't break 100 have the audacity to claim any club as over-rated? Improve your game a little more there hoss and then let us know what your opinions are.

These new Callaway X-20s are the real deal. I tried all kinds of irons from the Ping Rapture, Cobra S9, Taylor Made RAC, and the Big Berthas. Unless you have the $1000.00 to spend on the UFO looking Raptures there is no comparison. The Raptures are Titanium faced, but the look at address is not very comforting. The best Bang for the Buck are the X-20's. I had Ping Eye 2 Blue Dots and was shooting in the 100's before this year.
First time out shot a 95. Second time 92. Shot an 87 on a course I had never played before, went back a week later and shot an 86. I am hitting more GIR and the off center hits go just as far.
The higher trajectory takes a minute to get use to, but these clubs are great. I enjoy playing even more now.
I bought the 5-PW,AW,SW from Edwin Watts for roughly $615. Best money I have ever spent. If your looking for new irons you have to try these. At Edwin Watts they custom fit at no extra charge. Mine were ordered +1" and +1 degree upright, and I had them in 8 days.
