That last post is way off! These are great irons! The forgivness, feel, and look make this the perfect club for me. I like the fact that I can hit the ball all over the club face and still have a decent result. If you are a low handicapper maybe these arent for you but for mee they have already helped.
Customer Service Callaway's customer service is awesome and factored into my decison to go with the X-20's Similar Products Used: TM Rac LT2, PING, Nike, Cleveland, etc... I demoed evrything over the last few months! |

Great irons. Bought them last year after taking a 3 year layoff due to a wrist injury. Perfect clubs for mid handicap or up. Very long, high ball flight. They have helped me take my handicap from somewhere in the 20's (coming back) to 12. I will probably migrate to a more workable set next year but absolutely no complaints. They do exactly what they are designed to do. Customer Service Have not had to use. |

After testing a whole slew of irons I decided to go with these based on rave reviews here and in print. The reviews like the clubs are Money. I liked the Cobra S9's as well but they just didn't feel as clean when hit flush and there was more vibration on miss hits. I can't believe the difference it has made in my game though. I usually shoot in the 90s, thanks to my piss poor putting, but now because of these bad boys I am hitting more greens in regulation therefore turning my two puts into pars instead of bogeys. That has led to back to back 80s rounds for me. I must say I was a bit skeptical that a club could have that much affect on your game but I now swear by these. The clubhead does exude confidence at address and during impact. I have noticed a slight bump in distance over my 845s however the real difference is in feel and workability. Even on miss hits you will get just enough of it to get it close. I can't say enough about these clubs, they are sweet. Callaway X-20 Irons w/uniflex steel shaft 4-SW
These irons are awesome! At a demo day, I tested many irons(see similar products used) and at the end, I bought these irons with a uniflex steel shaft. The graphite shafts didnt give me the feel that I am accustomed to. Ball Speed is incredible ! Distance and Accuracy is simply amazing. At the demo day,I used a 6 iron and it was carrying 185 yards with a slight draw at my target. It is very sweet to hit and on off-center hits, very little vibration. I got it fitted 2 degrees flat and when I got the clubs, it was dead center at my target with no draw. It simply flew straight as an arrow! My 9 iron now carries 145-150 yards compared to my old 9 iron at 125 yards. I would definetly recommend these clubs to golfers who want more distance and to target the pin and get it close to the pin instead of praying to just get on the green. At 40+, these clubs has breathed life back into my golf game that I thought would never come back! Customer Service Callaway service is great! The fitted my clubs 2 degrees flat for free! Also it took only 2 days to reach me in Hawaii. Simply Awesome! They also give you complimentary name tags for your clubs! Similar Products Used: Taylor Made R7

I bought these clubs as they received the highest review in Golf Digest (editor's choice) and also based on the reviews in this forum. I must say I was disappointed. The clubs were too heavy for me (and I am not a person to work the ball). So I recommend first try before buy. After a few weeks I traded X-20 for Mizuno MX-23 which are probably for more advanced players but feel better. Similar Products Used: Cleveland TA7 |

These irons are confidence inspiring. Their finish is top quality, and they sit beautifully behind the ball.
Customer Service All delivery promise dates beaten. Legendary Callaway customer service. Similar Products Used: Really liked my Ping i3's & i5's, but these clubs are a different class with respect to looks, feel and delivery.

The Callaway X-20's are by far a better fit for me than the TaylorMade R7 irons I traded for these. It is notable that the X-20's have a considerably wider sole than their predecessors, X-18, which makes for a greater level of game improvement.
Customer Service Callaway has made a customer for life with their customer service. I purchased stock clubs from an internet dealer and contacted them after finding out that I really needed some adjustments to loft/lie. They took care of the problem without a blink of an eye, and made me feel like a prized business resource for them. I have played TaylorMade all my life and never got such great service from them, even when the problem was their fault! Similar Products Used: TaylorMade R7
