These are the longest, most forgiving clubs I've ever hit. There is definitely a sweeter veel on contact and about 10-15 yards longer than my BeCu Ping Eye 2s. A great confidence-building set of irons.

Customer Service

Haven't had to use it but has a great reputation.

My life is changed. Sounds like hyperbole I know, but I'm lacing long irons with the predictability of my former wedges. My only regret, was not ordering their sand wedge and opting for an oil can vokey instead, which requires "puring" it in the center every time. Even when I hit these on the heel & toe, they launch high, straight and with plenty of spin. Best things that ever happened to me in golf. I've always said, that it isnt' the gun, but the person shooting it. These are a huge help. STRONG word of advice... Don't even consider getting any irons without being properly fitted. I'm sure this has a lot to do with how well I'm hitting these. I spent a day driving to Callaway HQ in Carlsbad, CA and learned a great deal and got precisely the right irons/ shafts and lie angle for me.

Customer Service

Great. The answer is always yes.

Tried a lot of sticks before deciding. Hogan, Mizuno, Cleveland & Ping. Was reluctant. Felt a "Country club/ non players" stigma about Callaway's.

Here is introduction of X-16. I am so pleased with these new set of iron. I seem like not so excited as I should. This is the one I am sure you have been look for if you have been. Especially, these irons set, 3,4,5 iron are very easy to hit and forgiving. Short iron are very consistant. In conclusion, I'd like to say these x-16 steelhead is the one that will give you confidence and comfort at the same time. It did give me those, why not you?

Model Reviewed: X14 custom fit

I bought(and reviewed)these clubs last year.I got a custom fit(1/2 inch short, undersize grips, nothing more).Shot under 70 for the first time in my life yesterday(69).My handicap has plummeted.Don't know if it is the clubs, the custom fit or just me.All I want to say is these clubs are superb. They are not only for high handicapers.Get a demo set and try them.Don't think you need the Pro series if you shoot sub 80,you don't.If they don't suit try something else, there is a club out there for you(whatever you do get a good custom fit.It is worth 5 shots). And did I mention "I broke 70".WooHoo!

A good set of irons, sometimes hard to tell if a good shot or bad shot came off of the face. Had a tendancy to draw the ball. I tried these and went back to my Top Flite Tour TI's as I seemed to like those better.

I got these clubs when my X-12's were stolen from my car. I got the rifle shafts and the heads bent up 2 degrees to compensate for the regular shaft flex. The first time I hit these I felt a tremendous difference. Very soft, long and high. Can work the ball either way, knockdowns, spins, flat, whatever. I have played Big Bertha's, the aforementioned X-12's, Ping Zings and Ping Eye 2's, and hit just about everything else at demo days, etc, but these are definately the best. I would never hit anything other than Callaway irons. Now maybe some custom X-16's....

I switched from Lynx Parallax irons, & love them. I auditioned quite a few other irons, but none came close. The X14's have a wonderful soft feel. I had mine modifed from standard to have s-flex rifle shafts, & this made them even better. I hit the ball quite a long way (9 iron 150-155), & with the regular flex clubs I felt the ball flew a little too high. However, with the s-flex shafts the ball flight is much better, & the feel is oh so good. Also, the amount of spin I get with these irons is scary. I can now easily spin the ball back with any of the short-middle irons, which is helping immensely. The 3-iron is a fantastic driving iron, & on tight courses, I dont even entertain anything bigger if the holes are not quite long. My only complaint about them would be the workability of the ball. I naturally hit a draw, but can hit a fade (sometimes ;)). However, with the X14 I really have to try if I want to hit a fade. But then again, that is not the club doing anything wrong, it is the idiot holding it... ;)

I had rented X-14 steel shafts at the Four Seasons in Carlsbad CA where I played the Palmer course. Broke 90 and I was hooked to buy these irons. Straight, long and high. Hit the greens near the pin for me.Often.I was planning to buy them from money saved after I quit smoking,(900 bucks so far) but my daughter surprised me with a set on my 50th. It's 20 below outside today, but I plan to be an 80's player next season. Can't wait.

I am a high handicap lefty who has always had problems hitting my irons consistently. These clubs have made all the difference in the world! They are very forgiving and the balanced feel of each club gives you extra confidence with every shot. They also add an extra 1/2 club to full club in distance. These clubs are a bit pricey but they have been well worth the money.

I purchased these after doing a lot of research and talking to many people. Having done that, I can say without a doubt these are the best irons on the market. Granted they are pricey, but they are an investment toward hitting better shots. I've had them for about a month. Took a couple of times at the range to get used to the feel, but I'm hitting my irons more solid than ever before.
