Great clubs!! I traded my Ping ISI-K's for these clubs. First round shot my best back nine in a long time. Important to use a minimal press for the offset. Irons shot more accurate with more control than any other iron I have tried. Highly recommended from a very critical consumer. While blades are the ultimate for your best shots, these irons are by far the best balance of playability and versatility for the mid to lower 80's player. Next review I will write I am certain will be as a player with a handicap in the single numbers!!! Similar Products Used: Ping ISI-K, Armor 845's, Ping Eye's, |

Was playing MacGregor Blades before these irons and wanted something just a bit more forgiving. Found the look of the x-14 Pro Series very appealing, sets up nice behind the ball. Can still work the ball with these, minimal offset and they have a larger sweetspot but do not compromise feedback because of it. Rifle shafts are an excellent offering on Callaway's part. Perhaps my biggest surprise was how accurate and consistent the wedges are. They came with the used set I bought and I thought I would end up reselling them, but instead I sold my Clevelands. Have had these irons for about 2 months and my confidence and accuracy is still growing with every outing. Customer Service A+ Similar Products Used: MacGregor PCB Tour, Ping I/3, Taylor Made LCG |

I played Mizuno Pros for the last four years; great clubs. I started the year buying some TA7's, traded for MacGregor V-foil cavities, then purchased my Callaways. Super clubs. The rifle shaft performs well, the clubs are extremely forgiving, and my distance increased approximately 10 yards. This is a great club for anyone, especially for a guy over 50 like myself. Owned for 3 weeks. These are definitely a players club. I love them. Shot a 73 last week. They are extremlely solid and true. I used to play the regular X14 and found they go too high and I always over drawed them. These X14 Pro's (CW Stiff Rifle) are incredible for me. I hit them on a line and finally can work the ball. I love the look at address as well. Customer Service na Similar Products Used: X12 Pro and X12 |

these irons are fantastic, i started the season with a set of cleveland ta5s and liked them till i hit these. the x-14 pros are very solid and the less offset make it really easy to work the ball. the ta5s hit the ball high, which i liked till i played them in the eastern montana wind and wasn't happy at all. the x-14 pros allow you to hit a low penetrating ball or the high ball, whichever you want and the forgiveness on miss-hits that everyone loves. the constant weight rifle shafts are awesome and make this iron the all around best. Customer Service I dunno.......... Similar Products Used: Ping Eye 2, Ping I3, Cleveland TA1 and TA5 |

nice feel and very comfortable. good weight and a nice look from address. decent playability, but a little thuddy off of off center hits. does not actually lose much distance when you don't hit it on the sweet spot, but you definetly can tell (good feedback). I would rate it a 4.5, but it is not an option, so i gave it a 5. Customer Service excellent |

I have been looking for quite some time for a good solid set of irons. I wanted forgiveness, playability, and good looking. These really caught my eye, which Callaway irons have never really done. My pro suggested these over the X-14s because of the less offset. I ordered them, they came within one week, and I love them. The stock shaft in CW Rifle is awesome, as I play a stiff flex. I am thoroughly pleased. Callaway has done a great job in the total package with these irons. Anyone with a good swing who has a tendency to want to work the ball or just play an iron with a more blade-like appearance would probably play well with these. If you want a good set, but don''t think your swing is pure enough, play the X-14s. |

I have used quite a bit of equipment. I have been looking for quite a bit of time to find a set of irons that were forgiving, playable, solid, and have nice looks. I am looking no further. These irons have it all. I am impressed. I have been taking lessons through the winter. Well, nearing the end of the lessons, I was mentioning to my pro that I was looking for a new set of irons, and I was originally looking at the X-14s. He told me right out that with my swing, I would end up hooking the ball too much with those, so I hit the pro series a few times. I was amazed at how solid of an iron it was, so I ended up ordering a set. They came a week later, so that tells me something about Callaway right there. For those of you who are wondering, is this the right iron for me, I can give you my opinion. I think that if you are a good ball striker, and by good, I mean that you have a good swing plane, know that you can honestly say you hit the ball straight, with good ball flight, I think these irons would suit you just fine. I know that the irons have many shaft options available, but I think that the stock shafts in these irons are awesome. I play a stiff flex, standard length and lie, and love them. My biggest advice is to TRY BEFORE YOU BUY. That way you know what you are hitting. If you don''t like the Pro Series, the X-14s are an excellent club also. Like I said, I went with these because of the less offset. I like everything about these irons. There is not much else I can say. Good luck to all golfers out there. Even though this iron might not be liked by everyone, I know I have found an iron that will stay in my bag for a long time to come. I decided I had to try these, so I played with them all last summer. I never got to like them. The long irons were decent, but I never felt like I had much control with the short irons. A lot of women on the LPGA tour use these, so they can''''t be all bad, but Callaway spends a ton of money on marketing and like Titleist, they pay pros a ton to use their clubs. (I guess the flip side of that is that if you make your living playing golf, you''''re not going to use clubs you don''''t like.) Still, I think Titleist and Callaway clubs in general are overrated. I''''ve never hit one that I really truly loved. I''''m going to give the Mizuno MX-20s a shot. Anyone wanna buy some used x-14s? Similar Products Used: cobra, hogan, maxfli |
