A crisp, forgiving iron. I like them much better than the standard X-14's. I play the stiff Rifle shafts and like them very much. Easy to hit and very accurate. An excellent iron.

WOW!! I was playing T-Zoid Pros and thought they were the best irons on the market. Then I hit the Callaways. I could not believe the difference. I not only hit them longer, but if I miss the sweet spot I don't get punished like I did with the T-Zoids. They are so easy to hit I almost feel like I am cheating.

I hate it! Sucky club! I liked the mizunos better. The club is too big and gives you a lot of fat shots. I liked the Mizuno Trues a lot better. I reccommend you to try Mizunos from driver to putter, they are the best unlike overpriced Callaways.

Very solid clubs-the constant weight rifle offers consistent results with decent feedback. Have not found the less offset to be an issue. Took the time to go through the Callaway Cart fitting. It was OK but not all that informative. In fact it recommended the stiff constant weight rifles - which I went with and found to be too stiff. Keep in mind that these are approximate to the Rifle 6.5 so it is a pretty stout shaft - the regulars are more in line with a 5.5 - firm regular or soft stiff - confirmed with Callaway Customer service - and on a flex board. The stock cord grips are a nice compliment - if you like a rib grip - which I had never really used - but found helpful on these clubs. The cord is not an overly harsh cord and will not tear up the hands. Be prepared if you want to regrip with the same grip you can only get them as a special order through your local Callaway account - and they run about $7.00/grip. I also have the wedges - went with the 52* AW and 56* SW. Find them great from the fairway and rough - but the SW is pretty light on bounce - so you may find ourself looking for a greater bounce angle if you tend to play courses with softer sand. All in all a solid offering - and with the X-16s on the way out I have seen the X-14 Pros dip $100 in price.

Customer Service

Outstanding - went through the custom fitting and they recommended stiff shafts - got them and after 10 rounds or so decided they were too stiff - called Callaway and explained the situation - they simply told me to ship them in and they would reshaft to the Reg at no charge - and shipped them back to me 2nd Air free - does not get much better than that.

Awesome clubs, deadly accuracy and very forgiving. Distance wise, as good as any clubs out there if not better. Have tried Ping i-3, mizuno t-zoid and taylor made but the x-14s pro series is by far the better club. The short wedges are really accurate and forgiving at the same time. Have no regrets buying one. A little pricey but if you looking to for a club that is forgiving, looks great, provide great distance and playability then I think its worth the $$$. Cheers!

The best irons I have ever hit... I play these in Constant Weight Rifles, Stiff flex. The long irons are fairly easy to hit. The get up pretty good, but with minimal offset they may fade on you a bit. I carry the 4 iron thru the excellent "A" Wedge. The PW and A are sweet as hell. If I was ever stupid enuff to get new irons, I would still play these deadly wedges. I am like a surgeon with the 7 thru A. And I consider myself a mediocre striker. Since I switched to these irons 6 months ago, I have shot in the 80s three times. That's a first for this hacker. I have seen used sets for $500. That is a KILLER deal!!!

Customer Service

THE BEST Roger Dunn has sweet service also... cant beat the 90 day trial period on all clubs.

After happily using the X-12's for two years (a long time for me), I bought the X-14 Pro Series based on its cosmetic improvement over the X-14. I have been very disappointed in this club. The Rifle shafts felt dead and the crisp impact I was used to with the X-12's was gone. I tried reshafting these a couple of times, even tried graphite, but the ball flight was always disappointing. I wish my son hadn't confiscated the X-12's!
