By far, these are the best clubs I have ever played. I have increased my distance by 10 yards. I have a lot more confidence with these sticks in my hands.

Biggest mistake I ever made. These clubs don't come anywhere close to living up to the marketing hype. There is absolutely no feel whatsoever; the shafts are much more flexible than indicated (I had them checked on a flex board), the lie angles are inconsistent. Bottom line, I will never buy another Callaway product again--I am thoroughly disgusted by these clubs. If I could rate them a "0", I would.

Great irons, my previous were X12 with graphite. Thease are a lot more weight but after getting used to them I would not even try another iron.

Customer Service

Called with questions, they were very helpful and pleasing to talk to.

These irons are very foregiving, & I can hit them straight as an arrow. Clubs not have a solid soft a feel. As close to a blade as I can play with. They also feel a little heavy. I hit the 5 iron about 175 yards. They are pretty accurate, especially on toe or heel hits. Recommend steel rifle shaft versus Memphis 10 shaft. With X-16 on the market & apparent higher demand for non-pro series, then this series will cheaper.

When I first purchased these irons, they felt good and played good, now that I have played them for a year, I have a different review. They do not have as soft a feel as the X-12 Pro, however have a more compact head, which seems better. The blade itself sets up nice and square, but after playing them for one year The thick top line and very rounded leading edge is getting harder to look at with each shot. The rounded leading edge does not allow me to get a nice clean shot when I have a tight lie, especially on the short irons. They also feel a little heavy. On the positive side they are very forgiving and distance is great, for example I hit the 5 iron about 205 yards. They are pretty accurate, especially on off center hits. Also the rifle shaft is great. I am having a tough time on deciding if I should change to more of a traditional bladed iron. Bottom line, these irons are still one of the best on the market.

My Dad has been a loyal callaway iron buyer over the last 10 years but I could never get used to or even look at a callaway iron without getting that little eerie feeling thinking it was a block of "oldness". The offset put me off and I wouldnt dare hitting one of these geriatric aids. I missed the x-12 pro but I sure didn't miss the x-14 pro. The lines of the club was very nice and teh most appealing club I've owned to date as far as looking down. I saw it on sale as they are clearing them out now for $848 CDN with the regular price of $1399 CDN because of the x-16's. I saw teh club on sale so I said wth I'll try it. OMG, pure, straight, and forgiving compared to my hogan edges. I came back after a trip to the range and through the credit card down and said MINE!...to much suprise the guy said okay to teh free clubfitting. I said sure, walked over and got fit for regular except for 1 degree flat (I knew that but I never had custon stuff done because it was expensive). So now after getting them back I'm happy happy happy. Never hit irons better in my life. The price is right and don;t worry about the x-16, same stuff, cheaper and in my opinion its better.

Excellent irons, fitted mine with true temper S300 and this is an excellent combination. Much longer than any other iron I have played and very forgiving. Only dislike is that i draw the 8-pw far too much. They need to be a little less offset.

I've played the clubs 5 times, and I'am very impressed. They are very easy to hit, and very forgiving on all types of mis-hits. The short irons produce a good amount of spin, and a very nice (boring type of ball flight). The constant weight Rifle shafts match very well with the clubheads. The only thing I don't like is the trajectory of the long irons ( too high; not boring enough). Although, in some instance that is the shot needed, so it's not all bad. Again, the thing I like most about these irons is the forgiveness.

I hit the new Callaway X-16's Pro Series this week and all I can say is awesome, Save your allowance and then go take these irons for a test drive. If you thought that the X-14's where nice, you haven't seen anything yet. I had my mind set on the Ping I3+ blades for about two months. My buddy at the pro shop conviced me to wait until Jan when the X-16's debut. And all I can say is thank God. These clubs give me approx ten more yards per club, solid feel and simplcity to work the ball. Tons of confidence at address. Ordered my clubs to spec. Take my word I'm easily convinced, but try these out.
