As a low handicapper, I think these clubs $uck. No Feel, No feedback, No workablity = No birdies. These are good if u lack consistency or can't hit a beach ball, now I see why these are popular with the older golfers and high handicappers. I play blades and the x-14 pro series feels like I'm using an aluminum bat (atleast the aluminum bat has more feel). I dont even like the new emblem. Sorry Callaway lovers these are for divot diggers. Similar Products Used: None |

After reading the reviews on this site I decided to change from my ugly if not wonderful Ping Zing2's. I special ordered a set with a 2 degree upright 1/2 inch longer specs. They arrived in a little over a week and I must admit are a very nice looking club and the quality is first rate. However as soon as I started playing them I didn't like the feel or the feedback I was getting They felt clunky almost dull not very crisp at all. I got the stiff rifle shaft and to be honest I am not a fan I do not like the trajectory of the 3 and four iron (very low) and the over all feel of the shaft is sort of muddy. I guess I am used to S300's. I wanted very much to like these clubs but I just don't. I know I am in the minority but I think I will look elsewhere maybe I will go back to a forged cavity back. Any know where I can get a nice set of Mizuno MP Grads ? Similar Products Used: Ping i3,Ping Zing2,Mizuno Grads,Titleist 990,Mizuno T-Zoid pro etc |

Awesome clubs. Very forgiving - yet amazing shot shaping ability. The look of these clubs build confidence when addressing the ball. The feel is good, and feedback when stiking the ball is excellent. Similar Products Used: Just about everything |

callaway x14 pro series
Tryed the x14 pro's today. I have never hit callaway irons before.I am playing titleist 981 right now. I was very suprised the was i hit these clubs. My titleist have regular shafts. The demo set of x14 pro I was using had stiff shafts. I didn't expect to hit these clubs as far as my titleist for this reason. But to my suprise the ball was going just as far but with more control. To me this set felt a little bit heavery than my clubs. I found this to help feel the club head a bit better. I don't know if i will buy these or not .but if I don't It will be only because of the price tag. I have tryed a lot of diferent irons in the last 8 weeks but none any better than these. I chose to try the pro's over the regular x14 because of the smaller heads and not as much offset.I am not the best goffer out there but feel any one could hit these clubs. CALLOWAY X14 PRO SERIES
i SWITCHED FROM THE HAWKEYE TITANIUMS TO THE PRO SERIES. THE LOWER TRAJECTORY OF THE PRO SERIES PLUS ADDITIONAL LENGTH MAKE THESE THE BEST CALLOWAY CLUB TO DATE. THESE INCORPORATE VARIABLE FACE THICKNESS AND IT'S EASILY FELT WHEN THE CLUB MAKES CONTACT. NO, IT DOESN'T HAVE THE FEEL OF FORGED CLUBS, HOWEVER, IT IS MORE CONSISTENT. HAVE SHOT MY 5 LOWEST ROUNDS WITH THESE CLUBS AND HAVE REDUCED OVERALL HANDICAP 5 STROKES. YOU DO FEEL MISHITS, BUT LITTLE DISTANCE IS LOST. WEDGE IS A 130 YARD CLUB, 7 IRON IS NOW A 170 YARD CLUB. uP 9 YARDS FROM THE PINGS, HAWKEYES, MUZUNOS, AND CLEVELANDS. THESE WILL IMPROVE YOUR GAME, THERE ISN'T ANY GAMBLE IN PURCHASING THEM. X-14 Pro Series
Over the past year I have tried everything. I ended up selling a set of X-14's(with Constant Weight Rifle Shafts) and got fitted for a set of Titleist 990's. I lost about 10-15 yards with the 990's. Like most people have said...the 990's are great when you are on..but if you are struggling you might as well leave them in the car. I went on a hunt to get my distance back and to get the enjoyment I had before. The X-14's were the perfect fit. They are less offset and the sole is a tad thinner than the X-14's. The Pro Series don't drag near as much in the rough as the X-14's. These are great clubs! It all comes down to what you like and what feels good for you to swing. No one club will ever satisfy every golfer...but for what I hit these felt like gold from the moment I hit them. Try for yourself Customer Service Great Customer service. Very customer driven. Callaway X-14 Pro Series
I hit them all, and this was the best for me. I was looking for something more blade-like (haveing played the original Big Bertha "shovels" since their introduction in the mid 90s)and I was looking to try something other than Callaway. As much as I wanted to like Mizuno and Titleist, the reality is that both are the among the hardest-to-hit clubs I've encountered. Either you hit them pure, or you don't, and not hitting them pure produced horrible results. For you purists out there, I understand you are thinking, "yeah, so what, that's the way it's supposed to be." Well, if you're like me, I'm an average player that wants to play a halfway decent round of golf without puring every shot. The X-14 Pro Series allows me to do this, while still feeling like I'm playing a semi-serious club. I liked the way the Hawkeyes worked, but I couldn't look down at the mass at the end of the shaft on every shot - they just don't look right. The Taylor Made 360 was a great club also, but the marketing makes you feel like a hack for playing it, like you're a lesser player. I know that sounds lame, but image matters in golf. If you play a club that makes you think you're a lesser player, it's one more psychological chink in your armor, and this is a mental game. The Pro Series is a great fit for me, and they really do perform. Just blade-like enough to make me feel like a player, forgiving enough to let me shoot respectable scores. The BEST Callaway club ever made. You can actually feel when you have hit a bad shot.
