Highly recommend these irons for golfers just starting out. I have been playing for 3 months and have dropped 10 strokes off my score with these irons and I can accually can hit with the long irons. I starting playing with some old titleist accu-flow irons. They have a very large sweet spot for those miss hits. Very easy to hit with.

Have played 1 round with these irons. Absolutely astounding leap in technology that translates into better scores. Longer by 15 - 20 yards per club. Very forgiving and a pleasure to hit. Also very accurate with great touch.

I had tese irons for 5 months and thought I was to good for them and sold them. I shot mid-high 70's and had 3 rounds in the 60's last year. I went to blade type irons and everything else. I don't care how good you are or think you are, these are the best irons made-period. People who say you can't work the ball with these, don't know how to work a ball. i have bought 6 sets of irons in the last 2 months and nothing is close. It takes about a week to get used to them though. You could hit these long and straight blind folded so what's the problem? Any level could play these clubs and they feel great.

I have never hit an iron that feels as good as these. I don't work the ball, so I don't know if there is a problem doing it with these, as I have read and heard. The 2 things that I love about these irons are :
1. They are very forgiving - meaning that you don't go off line OR lose much distance on off-center hits (Which is a God-send on the golf course)
2. When you do hit it on the screws, it is the most solid feeling of ANY iron I have ever hit.

these clubs are 10 yards longer than any other club I've played. The long irons are the easiest to control and consistent in length. The wedges are almost too long (115 yd sand wedge, 100 yd lob wedge). My average score has gone from 87 to 79.

Customer Service

callaways sustomer service is outstanding.

Clubs were to light. Little feel.
Ball gets airborne easy, large sweetspot.
Sold and switched to Ping I3's

I bought them used, they are way too expensive retail. They are a game improvement club, but high handicappers (like myself) cannot afford $1000.00 for clubs!

AWESOME!!!! I recently switched from steel to graphite and went from Ping I3 to X14's (in steel) and then went to these. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! These clubs are higher, longer (by 10 yards), and straighter. The big thing is the forgivness. You miss hit these and there is little penalty. I love these guys that talk about Hogan Apex and Ping irons, ANY club you hit sweet is going to work well. The key is forgivness, if your standing over a tough shot and know you don't have to hit it perfect the game becomes more fun and your more relaxed. So unless your a 5 or less and need to really work the ball this is the BEST CLUB ON THE MARKET -- ASK BRUCE FLEISHER!!!!! And the other thing -- I have all the wedges, they took a few weeks to get used to around the greens and now they are fine. I can't begin to give these clubs enough praise -- and if it's a money issue -- eat rice a roni for a few months and play muni's.....

These are the first clubs that I do not feel on the club head during flush contact. It took a while getting used to the duller titanium sound. My best shots actually have no sound and it is a sweet sensation. They have improved my game and the look gives me confidence. I don't know what these might do for the low handicapped golfer however, as my much more experienced friends do not seem to like them because of the thick head appearance. They are expensive, but do like me. Be patient you will eventually get a set for under $750 like I did in an online auction.

These irons are extremely forgiving and are longer than my last 2 sets (Mizuno Comps and Top Flite tour)not to mention they look REAL nice. You get a great deal of heighth which helps you hold greens even from longer distances.. the length is about 205-210 for my five iron as opposed to 190 to 200 with my prior irons. Mishits will still put you close to the green..soooo forgiving. Worth the price for me.
