A few years ago I was given a set of Hogan PC''s. They needed some work but well worth doing for such a rare collector''s set of clubs. I put new shafts in them and now I am playing the best golf of my life well worth the price weather it be free or at cost. In fact I believe that they were the best irons ever made.

These are brand new and in perfect condition the grips were still in great shape.apex shafts 4 These are the sweetest irons I’ve ever hit a little heavier than newer models. There is no forgiveness for off plane shots you get what you give and when you give your disciplined best the results are awesome..! I know this set is worth about ten times what I paid but I just cant bring myself to put them down !

I made a big mistake last year by selling my MP33 to get a brand new set of X14 pro serie. Although the callaway is easy to hit and forgiving, I was missing the fantastic feeling of the blades, the one feeling that tells you at impact that your ball is going exactly where you want. I did not feel like buying some MP33 again and I decided to get the APex blades... The look is great, gives me a good confidence at stance and I like the way the ball flies. The only bad comment will be on the shaft. I have steel shaft Apex 4 (Stiff) and I guess It will be better with Rifle 6.5 shafts on it. Anyhow, those clubs are a must for "real" or "purist" golfers.

The last review was written by a loser who didn''t know what it means by "product review" and based the rating on customer service. Maybe that''s why no one was paying much attention to him... ha ha He is right about one thing, most people that own these irons loves the way they look and feel. The contact is soft yet solid although distance is only average. I do have some dislikes personally. The shaft has too much flex, apex 4 stiff. I prefer rifle or s300 but thought I give these shaft a try. The set up was a little weird as well, didn''t know if I had bought the standard spec or not. The grip is rough. But as I understand all these spec can be ordered to individual liking. Nevertheless, I would rate it 5 because of the way they feel and look.

Customer Service

I only found out I can easily order special specs only after I bought them, oh well..

I will never have to look at another set of clubs again. What a combination the feel of a forged club with the forgiveness of a cavity back iron. These clubs are so smooth and the feeling is GREAT!!!

after playing several different clubs in search of "that feeling", including Cleveland TA-1, Orlimar Venturi, Mizuno, Titelist, etc....I found this club in the used section at Roger Dunn and fell in love....got a set on E-bay w/ full cord grips and S-300 shafts and can't see myself playing anything else...sweet, pure, nice loft and long carry...hitting the ball better than ever....Hogan magic, beautiful club.....if you are a good consistant ball striker, this club will be a faithful friend.....

Wow. These blades are far superior toi the Titleist Baldes (double musclebacks) that I played with for many, many years. The feel is excellent with no harsh Hogan Sting on thin shot. Flush shots are Chariffick.

The Apex 4 shafts are a bit lofty in trajectory, but the carry on these irons is superb.

For playas that connect with consistency, these are the ones.
If you are not quite as precise, try the Apex Plu these are much more forgiving with that same sweet charrific feeling.

Just got these and the first round out I shot 80. Expect my handicap to drop in the next couple of months. Getting an extra club length from each stick. Great feel, nice balance, and they are very good looking. They are an excellent forged blade, as good as any club I've played.
