Tried everything until I tried these. Stopped dead in my tracks and started saving my money. Went to a range, had a fitting session (highly recommended), and ordered. Waited nearly two months for the custom order (1/2" long, 2 deg. up), nearly wet myself when they finally came in, went back to the range and just watched perfectly beautiful shots sail 20-30 yards farther than my previous set of irons. Needless to say, these were well worth waiting for and worth every penny I saved. Whoever tells you that name brand properly fitted equipment doesn't have that much to do with your game is an idiot. Also, don't let your handicap be your guide, and don't listen to some snooty scratch golfer--who thinks he's the only one who can play forged--sway you from giving these beauties a whirl. Follow your heart and take dead aim. Similar Products Used: None |

When I bought these clubs I was hesitant at first but was encourage by a friend to try them. I always thought that form forged clubs were for 70's plays or 2 handicaps. Well they're not! I hit these clubs so solid every time that I could not believe it every shot since I bought them has been sweet. I strongly recommend. Similar Products Used: None |

Just got the set couple days ago. Went to the driving range everyday with my new clubs. All I can say is: "Oh my, did I hit that shot?" Amazingly sweet feel. However, I am having a major problem with these clubs. They look so good that I feel guilty by hitting them. Similar Products Used: Titleist 981 |

How sweet it is...The first time I hit these clubs, I fell in love with them. I've tried many different cast clubs on the golf course and nothing compares to the feeling you get out of the Apex Plus. Instant feedback, great ball flight, and the light weight shaft is what attacted me to these clubs. I always had the perception that forged clubs are hard to hit until I tried these Apex Plus. These clubs are easy hit but are even better since I was fitted to the proper lie angle and shaft stiffness. After playing five fun rounds of golf on the course, I've come to appreciate the quality and craftmanship in these clubs. Every single penny that I've invested into these clubs was well worth it. How sweet it is to have a set of fitted Apex Plus... Similar Products Used: Titleist DCI981, Mizuno Comp EZ, Tommy Armour 845 |

Based on my research, I felt that I only needed to compare a couple of clubs when I went to buy. Although I felt that the other clubs that I tried might offer more forgiveness, the feel of the Apex Plus was unsurpassed. It had the feel of a club that was suited for someone slightly better than my 16 handicap. However, I've decided to put a lot of effort into my game this year and felt that I could practice into the club. Customer Service E-mail service has been quick and informative. Brand new out of the box with plastic and bubble wrap intact! Without question one of the best looking irons on the market. I regularly shoot in the low 80s using Cobra Gravity Backs. When I switched from older Edge irons to Cobras, I shanked the ball and it took weeks to get used to the irons. When I switched back to the Apex Plus irons (after 5 years) I have hardly hit really bad shot, even my misses go in the right direction. I don't know where this supposed 'shank problem' has come from? I have talked to 4-5 people who have switched to these irons and none have had this problem! These irons have the tightest accuracy of any iron I have hit and give perfect feedback on every shot. With the offset of the Cobra irons I had a real problem missing the ball left and when I tried to play a high fade the ball went strait or too far left. With only a few rounds with the Apex Plus, I have been able to work the ball like never before. Do not hesitate to try these irons. I wish I never switched from a forged club! Hit em strait!!
