Great looking and feeling irons. Very forgiving ..good medium-high trajectory. I have tried every iron nder the sun. I have demoed them all. I have gone through 5 sets of irons in the last 2 years. Mizuno Comp-EZ, Wilson Fat shaft, Maxfli-Midsize, Callaway x-12 pro''s, Nicklaus M-3''s. Maxflis wer just as good feel as these maybe even a little better but no where near as forgiving. These Hogans are a great set of irons , the quality and craftmanship are second to none. These are keepers.

Excellent set of irons. Very forgiving and easy to hit. A good selection for those mid to high handicappers out there. I thicker top line for a feeling of reassurance when standing at address. Mine are the 2001 model, at least that was what the card says they were built, with the Apex 4 stiffer shafts. 3 thru E (pw). These sell for well over $700 in most areas, close to $1000 in some places. If you get out there a look around, you can find brand new sets for a lot less than that. Like I said, I only paid $425 for mine, brand new in the box still wrapped. I new designed cavity back head promotes straighter shots and tons of forgiveness. An excellent iron. True craftsmanship in every club.

No experience yet. I have heard bad things about the "Free Hat Offer" that Hogan has going right now with the purchase of a new set of irons. Took a friend of mine several weeks past the promised time

just picked these up due to good price mainly. Last set of clubs I owned were cast cavity back knock - offs. These clubs sound unbelievably sweet...beautiful high trajectory and I seem to have gained 15 yards at least. I can only surmise because right now I''m hitting inside a dome but I sure realized in a hurry what all the fuss was about when people talk abouth the " feel " of a forged club. I''m now hitting a slight draw which was almost never present with my old set. An added bonus is the sheer beauty of these clubs. Nice craftsmanship.

I was looking for a set with graphite shafts that would give me a soft feel, smooth feedback and accuracy. After testing several brands on several ocassions, it came down to only one choice, the BH Apex Edge. Not only classy looking but it really works.

I test the Ping i3 and Callaway x-14 and narrowed down to Ben Hogans. I own both the Apex Plus & Edge. Both are great but the Edge clearly more forgiving. My ball flight is very straight and sound though not as nice as the Plus is quite impressive. The sound is sharp, instant feedback. I needed a club that will let me know if I hit ball correctly. Many of the other irons I tried out no matter where the ball hit the club it was the same sound. I am playing with both sets right now. Days I feel confident I bring out the Plus. I do advise when buying the Edge buy a stiff shaft, the head is quite heavy and you will have more control. Bottom line these clubs are head turner, they don''t look like other cavity back clubs they look serious.

I recently bought the hogan Edges thinking it would improve feel, while allowing me to work the ball because of the forged face. Boy, was I wrong, not only impossible to work ball, I''ve gone from hitting my Cobra 7 iron- 160 to hitting the Hogan 135. I hate these thing. Getting rid of em as soon as possible.

I went in to the store planning on buying the Hogans, but the salesman wanted me to hit some other irons as well. I hit the Wilson Fat Shaft, Taylor Made 360, Orlimar Scoring irons, and the Hogans. Orlimars and Hogans clearly stood out from the other two. Orlimars were probably the best at ease of getting the ball in the air, but the Hogan were close and won out on looks and feel.

These are simply beautiful clubs, and the feeling when you hit it flush is wonderful. They are every bit as forgiving as my old clubs (Mizuno Sure) on mishits, at least in terms of ball flight, but the mishits do sting more, which I can live with.

I can't think of a better club. I shoot around 110 now, and find these clubs are superb, but the great thing is that I think they will still be superb when I get down under 100 and then under 90.

I have only hit them a few times, but feel very good, on good hits ball seems to have a very nice flight.Mis-hits off of toe does not seem to lose much distance and stays decent on line.seem to have a little trouble(thin) using 6#,7# around green which usually came easy with my old irons, but i am sure getting used to them will help there. It seems 3# and 4# irons are easier to hit(old irons these usually just sat in bag taking up room).Overall they seem to be very good irons.

These are wonderful irons. They feel like forged clubs but are very forgiving. I hit them solid, longer than my Callaways and straight. They are very attractive clubs too. They are a little heavier head which helps get the club through better than some of the lighter clubs out now. These are worth checking out.

I submited and earlier review after hitting these a few times in a indoor dome and mentioned that I would submit another review after playing more. These are great clubs. They are solid, have a great forged feel to them and are very forgiving. They are not as forgiving as a cast club because you give up a bit for the forged feeling. I have three sets, ping eye2, nicklaus Vcg and these. These rank number 1. The only thing I'm not sure of is the short shots around the green. I am still getting used to a wider heavier blade. Not sure of the previous persons comment about these are not Callaway forged blades. Of course they aren't!, they are not forged blades, they are much more forgiving. That's the idea, a cavity back with a forged feeling. Sounds like this person sells callaways. Anyhow, I paid $650 and they are worth every penny.

Customer Service

Great, I e-mailed them and they responded right away.
