Outstanding distance and control with these irons. These clubs have an enormous sweat spot and better than average feedback on mishits. I would recommend getting fitted by a professional before purchasing to get the specs necessary for your game. I would highly recommend you consider this product - it is outstanding!!! These irons are the ones to get. I had a set of Ping I3 O-size fitted for me for a year and could not hit them to save my life. Real inconsistent shots. I demoed the GT irons and from the first shot I knew these were the ones even when the demo clubs weren't fitted for me I still hit them long and straight. Definitely a good buy. I just wanted to add my two cents worth. I've played most of the "major" brands, and when I demo'd these, and went through the fitting, I sold my EYE2's and a set of X-14's to get the Adams. (The Adams fitter worked up shaft flex, length, weight, even grip size and type!) They are accurate, easy to swing, and properly fit, they strike the ball straighter then anything I have ever played! I've read the recent reviews, and have to add that one of the major advantages Adams offers is their accurate and efficient fitting system. I suspect that some of the problems individuals have experienced may be due to not going through the complete fitting. The consistency, quality, and solid performance of these irons makes them a real winner, but even the Adams company will admit that the real bonus only comes from being properly fit. And, I strongly recommend the "performance" model. Customer Service I had a fitting, but after the results concerned me, Adams customer service directed me to another fitter in the area. Guess what, both fittings generated the exact same specs! Similar Products Used: Ping Eye2, X-14, Hogan Apex Plus, Supersteel |

I tried these at a demo day here in April. After matching my Ping i3 O's and these, I sold my Pings and had a set of these custom fit. It was worth the wait. Great irons. I can even hit the long irons with consistancy now. Very easy on the hands, and very forgiving on toe hits....I also have the Adams ST 10* Driver and 15* 3wood. Wouldn't trade them for anything I've had in the past. Customer Service Adams customer service is the best. Similar Products Used: Ping i3,Taylor Made Supersteel, Callaway X-14 |

I cannot believe the poor reviews these irons are receiving. They are long, straight, and easy to hit. The only negative is the cosmetics - but you will get over that once you hit a few shots. The 3-5 irons are ridiculously easy to hit and the feel is much better than expected from a cavity back iron. The graphite tip makes off center hits less harsh with only distance sacrificed. Great club for mid to high handicappers looking for consistency. I would highly recommend you consider this product. Similar Products Used: None |

I read the great reviews on these clubs at golfjudge.com and hamegg.com, and believed that they must be the greatest thing since sliced bread. I hit the clubs at Don Sherwood in Cupertino. They feel well balanced and the sweet spot is easy to hit. Similar Products Used: Top Flite Tour, Ping I2, Callaway x-14 |

I'm having serious trouble hitting these irons. I developed a significant slice and found them to be fairly unpredictable. Disappointed thus far. I haven't given up; just surprises at the initial poor results. Similar Products Used: King Cobras |

I must say that these clubs are exactly what I have been looking for and waiting for. At 6 feet 6 inches I can not play graphite shafts unless I go with a really stiff shaft, which does not feel right to me. These GT’s have given me the best of both worlds. You get the feel of graphite with a steel shaft. Let me tell you that when you hit these irons correctly, boy does it feel great. The biggest benefit I have found with these clubs is that the long irons are almost to easy to hit. Long par 3’s are a delight now and the woods stay in the bag a lot more then they use to. Shots are also high, straight and most of all accurate. As for forgiveness, I find them to be more then acceptable. The only part of this set that I have not truly felt in love with are the short irons. Read Egg and Hams review on them and they say the same thing. Not that the short irons are bad, but I am just not in touch with them as much as I would like. At first I was worried about the new technology, but now I can’t imagine being without them. I have played about five rounds with them and would say they have bought me about five strokes a round. I finally feel as if that 80 something game is in site. At least it will be once I get my drive under control…. Similar Products Used: None |
