Titleist 975F Fairway Woods

Titleist 975F Fairway Woods

DESCRIPTION

The 975F is the ultimate combination of size and weighting in a fairway metal, producing a sweet, solid feel and sound. The lower center of gravity and increased face roll provide the proper launch angle and easy-up playability. The internal weighting is forward biased to reduce spin and produce a flatter downrange trajectory, the hallmark of all Titleist 975F fairway metals. The leading edge is beveled and radiused and the sole is crowned along the center for playability from all types of lies.

Shoot in the low 80's. I don't care what the others say, these clubs are great. If you are over a 15 handicap, stay away. The heads are not huge, so they are not super forgiving - but they are not unforgiving either. It seems that too many high handicap players buy these clubs, only to find out they they can't hit them - it is because they are for low-mid handicap players. Don't give them a bad review because you bought the wrong club. Anyway, the 13.5 goes 260 when you make perfect contact, the 18.5 goes 230. More than enough for me. Severe Toe and heal shots may loose 10-15% distance. The balance, looks, accuracy, ability to move the ball are all great with these clubs. If you are good, buy them. If you are not, get some fat oversized ti.

Dissapointing Club to say the least. I bought this clubs used in very good condition. You have to hit this club dead center for it to go anywhere. Even if you hit a little off-center it slices and only go's about 25 yards. Also the looks aren't great it looks like a small driver with a shallower face. So unless you have a handicap under 5 do not buy this club!!!

I hate this club. You must hit it at the exact spot to get any kind of feel out of it, at that you still dont get a hell of a lot of distance. This was a waste of money. I would only reccomend it to scratch or better golfers.

Awesome stick! Long and straight off the tee or fairway. Sweet feel and ball flight. A good 25 yards longer than my old Big Bertha Warbird 3-wood off the tee. I didn't think it was possible to find a replacement for my old 3-wood but I was pleasantly surprised when I took this club out to the range. The performance carried over to the course as well. Strongly recommend giving this stick a shot.

Bought the 14.5 off ebay with stock graphite shaft just to try it out. WOW! Long and straight. I mean scary long! Very impressed. Bought the 18.5 with steel a couple of weeks later. I shoot in the mid 80's--don't worry about the forgiveness factor. Unless you really hack at it (and who doesn't from time to time) there's plenty of forgiveness. Had a hard time replacing my Steelhead Plus 3 and 5 woods, but these clubs deliver. Longer and more solid.

Great club, I have stared leaving my Taylor made 12 degree driver at home. I can put the ball in the fairway 90% of the time with this club and have poped it out about 225 at times. I read that it wasn't recomended for high HCP. But I love it. We play into the wind here in the keys alot and this club deleivers. Its much better off the tee for me, still perfer my orlimar for the fairway.

This club is the best overall 3 wood. Its long off the tee and accurate off the deck. I can hit it anywhere from 225-240 yards off the tee. Its the best out there. I am going to get a 18.5 5 wood as well. Jason is a bum!

Great club with a wonderful piercing trajectory. Also works well on mis-hits. A great club for the tee and windy tees, but still works well off of the fairway.
