If you wade thru, and toss out the few ridiculous reviews, it's obvious this is a high quality club. cmoneynoair, if you hit this club 25 yards, I would suggest either taking off the headcover before swinging or try gardening instead of golf. I have the 14.5 degree with a stiff Graffoly shaft. I find I get a more boring ball flight and about 10 more yards than my 14 degree Orlimar trimetal. The club is great for shaping shots and works well out of the rough. This wood also gives a superior feel to the Orlimar. Highly recommended. The Titleist 975F Pro Trajectory fairway metals are by far the BEST woods on this planet. I tried them all. I used to have a Taylor Made burner, then the Callaway Steelhead III, then the Taylor Made 300 Tour model, and now Titleist. I thought it would be hard to hit as the small face looks intimidating, however it is very forgiving. Excellent from most lies. I hit around 250-265 off the tee and 240-250 off the deck. The proforce 65 gram shaft also helps keep the shaft from distorting at impact and keeps my head square at impact. This is my weapon of choice on long holes however my baby will always be my Titleist 975J 7.5 with Fujikura Speeder 661 X-Stiff. I love this club. This is the best thing that ever happened to me. It is now considered as a weapon for me. I can basically do anything I want with this club, both off the tee and off the deck. Having found another 3 wood to come even close so far, not that I've been actively looking for another - no need! I am giving some serious thoughts about picking up the 975F 5 wood now - waiting for the price to come down. I changed the shaft becoz I didn't like the original grip and shaft. |

MAkes you LONG. I also play the 975D and i far prefer this, i carry the ball 10-15 yards further but lots of spin makes the ball stop when it pitches (useful for par fives.) I am only 14 and 5"4 but i carry a good 220yds. Now that lots of these are around they are very cheap. After purchasing and going wild about the Titleist 975J VS driver, I bought the 975F 3 wood and I couldn't be happier. This is one fine club. Good distance (low trajectory), solid feel, and good accuracy. Some say this is only a player's club...I have to disagree. If you have a swing that is somewhat grooved this club will absolutely benefit your game. If you don't, then you may want to stay away. But remember that ultimately the club is not the issue and any club you play will result poorly...as they say, "Its not the arrow, its the Indian". The best advise on that is lessons first, good clubs second! Finally, as with any Titleist product, this club tends to be expensive at pro shops. I got mine on Ebay, hard to believe it had ever been hit, for less than half of retail. Good luck. Customer Service N/A Similar Products Used: Orlimar, Cobra. |

Quite simply a fantastic club. Having purchased the 975D I had to compliment it with this little beauty. To date I have played one round with both in my bag and having hit it four times can honestly say that it is some club. My only concern was that it did seem to come out of a fluffy lie with some height, however this may have bben given to the fact that I was going hard as you like at the shot in a scramble formt. If you have the chance try one out they're great. Customer Service Not had to use Similar Products Used: 975D Driver (EI70 Stiff Shaft) |

Great club for scratch to mid-handicapper. Small head may pose a problem for high handicap golfers. The feel of these clubs is excellent. By looking at the shallow face you would think that the ball would come off the face high. Not the case at all for me. I get a nice mid to low boring trajectory out of these clubs. I have a 13.5deg and a 16.5 deg, both in Dynamic gold S300. Great looking clubs. Easy to work the ball Customer Service Dimmock Hill. A+ service as always |

Great club!! I have the 14.5* and it produces a nice, low flight, and it is long!! Its a very solid feeling club, and is fairly forgiving despite the small clubhead size. I have a proforce 65 stiff shaft in it and it works well. Customer Service not used Similar Products Used: callaway warbird |

got this club off ebay recently and was a little worried that the club would be unforgiving- this is not the case! I am a high handicap and found this to be a nice, solid wood. Heavier than my steelhead 3, and the sound isnt as sweet, but gets the job done when struck in the center. Long and straight is the best i can describe this club. I still prefer the steelhead b/c it makes the sweetest sound. Customer Service didnt need Similar Products Used: steelhead 3, adams 363 |

I think the different opinions from previous reviewers are due to the shafts. the 975F clubs suck if the shaft is the stock True Temper EZ-70 graphite. Even if you get a stiff flex, it still shivers like noodles. However, with proforce fairway shaft, these clubs are just wonderful. Customer Service no experience yet Similar Products Used: Orilimer |
