TM V-Steel 3 Wood
This club is solid. Its straight off the tee (dont really like to work the ball very much anyway -straight will do fine) but where this club out performs the 200 is out of the rough. It glides through long grass and puddles far better than the 200s which I also own. A three off the tee is usually when you want a reliable dead straight shot anyhow. This truly is a lawn mower in the rough and sensational off the short grass Customer Service NA Similar Products Used: TM 200 3&5 woods Do yourself a huge favour and try this club out itll save you in yer time of need |

Taylormade V Steel
Traded my Taylormade 200 3 wood for this newer model. What a disappointment? I read the reviews posted here and expected a much improved club in the V Steel. I am a clubmaker, and tried the graphite stock shaft, and the UST shaft I had in my 200 3 wood, in this club. This club does not have the hot face of the TM 200, even though they are both 455 steel. If you don't want to lose distance stay with the TM 200 steel. I would consider this club a total downgrade in performance, the ball is dead coming off of this face, even on a perfect hit I was losing at least 10-15 yards compared to my TM 200 steel. I normally hit my TM 200, 215-230, the V steel falls well short of this. Regret the trade very much. Taylormade has really failed on the design of the V Steel. I've seen them on the resale rack at Golfsmith in higher numbers than other new fairwood introductions. You will be very dissapointed if you purchase this club. Too bad, this club is great looking! Taylor MADE V-Steel 5 wood Stiff shaft
Very nice club, gets out of the ruff very easily. This club took me a little while to understand not to hit it hard, overswinging tends to hook the ball. One negitive could be the size of the grip, its a little to oversized. Customer Service Very good. Helpd me try out all of the clubs I wanted. |

v steel steel shaft dglite stiff 300?
I think that the club will be fine, I had to change shafts after just one round. They tell you that you are getting an s-300 shaft, but in fact you are getting a dinamic gold lite. Its about 1/2 ounce lighter than s-300 dg. If you like(need) the heavier feel and stiffness don't buy the dg-lite in whatever stiffness, you will have to change the shaft. As far as the feel of the club, I think I will like it. The looks, are nice. Accuracy, hopefully will improve after the re-shaft. Customer Service not needed yet Similar Products Used: everything. The mizuno tzoid blue rage with the s-300 shafts are solid, we'll see if the tm v-steel stands up to the test. |

3 and 5 wood v
Great faiway woods I have bought the 3 and 5 in stiff shaft graphite, long off the tee with a high ball flight ,these clubs are easy to hit off the deck in fact the 5 goes easy like a 7 or 9 wood ,never hit anything that picks up the ball from the ground so well .Bad points are the paintwork ,scuffs bad on miss hits over the top ,had to touch both mine up with a bit of paint after 2 rounds ,if you can live with that I doubt you will hit an easier wood off the deck ,slightly punishible on off centre hits though.Apart from the iffy paintwork ,suberb... 3 wood
Here is the truth according to Tom ;). Three wood technology has not improved dramatically since the days of the old King Cobra .330 tip three wood (not the creepy offset model, but the gray/blue model). This club is average in length, below average in workability, very pleasing at set up, and not one bit better than my old KC 3 wood. Save your money and spend it on a driver (thin-faced titanium technology is for real) or on lessons. Customer Service Not used. V Steel 15*
After avoiding Taylor Made for a few years - (no good reason) - I have come full circle with the addition of this 3 wood. I have been fighting closed face fairway woods. Even my last one, a Titleist 975F was slightly closed. From the minute I picked up the V Steel, I looked right, and felt right. Now after a few rounds with it, I can also say it plays right (correctly that is). With some pain, I must admit TM has pulled ahead in the R&D department. I also play their RAC irons and the R580 driver. Go figure - then get a V Steel! Customer Service None required Similar Products Used: EVERY 3 wood on market except Sonartec. |

Just got it and hit it...this is a par 5 killer...I use it off the tee, and out of the fairway...13* loft is low and long...nice look and feel...stiff shafts are a bit wimpy... Have a shaft fitted for your swing, and you got the best fairway wood around. Similar Products Used: V Steel 5 wood... high and long... shaft kick point too low... club head is great.. |

Taylormade V-Steel Fairway wood
I found these fairway woods very easy to hit. The five wood goes a bit too high, but without sacrificing distance. The 3wood gives me a lot of confidence. This is perfect for tight par 4s. I think this is a club that can benefit a wide range of players. I owned the 200 Steel previously and really enjoyed hitting those. These V-Steels are better. This doesn't give me the heavy draw I found the Callaway III woods tended to give me. If you are looking for new fairway woods, consider these. They may suit your swing.
