Of all the drivers I tried recently this is the one that I purchased. It wasn't as long as others (avg. 250yds) but it was accurate. I placed 80% of my drives in the fairway in the golf shops simulator. Out on the range it was about the same. 15 yds right or left of where I aimed it. Those looking for distance may have to tweak their swings to get more yardage but if you are willing to sacrifce distance I think it's a winner. I chose to give up 20 erratic yards and at $199.00 I think it's worth it. Hopefully out on the course it will produce the same results.

I demoed this club from a local gof store and i was amazed. Its accuracy is awesome and its distance is unbelievable. Though it is not better than the Titleist 975d i would reccomend this club to anyone.

I tried both the Taylormade and Callaway new steel woods. It was a quick decision, the Taylormade feels better and provides better control and consistancy. I'm a true believer in Callaway X-12 irons, but when it comes to a product that will improve my game there is no such thing as company loyalty. My bag now consists of Callaway X-12's 3-SW, 8.5* Ping TiSi and the new Taylormade 3 wood. This is a set that dreams are made of.

I like this club alot it is big off the tee and is very acurate in the fairways and has lowered me 2-3 strokes, because it is a club I can be consistent with it. Thanks Taylor Made.

I tried a 10.5 driver with a graphic shaft and was disappointed. The driver is forgiving and accurate, however lacks distance. I found the 3 wood to be a much better stick.

Based on reviews here I traded in some
clubs to get this one. I tried it and my
first 5 balls dribbled off the tee at the range. switched to my NGC driver and
clocked a few 220+ noproblem. This thing sounds like I am hitting the ball with a 2 by 4. No distance, no accuracy,
my wrist is sore from trying to kill the
ball to make it go 200 yards. This is not the club for me. This was the 10.5
regular flex rifle shaft. I may trade it
for a trimetal or get my money back!

Both the Driver and 3 wood exceeded my expectations. accuracy and control are excellent with both clubs Distance is good and the ability to get the ball trajectory high out of a tight lie or rough is excellent.

This is the best fairway wood i've ever hit. On the tee, i hit farther and straighter. I've always liked Taylor Made products, but this one is the best one so far. I've also tried the Supersteel irons and they are also the best set of irons i've tried.

I tried callaway steelhead and titleist irons, the supersteel came out the best.

Model Reviewed: TM Supersteel 9*

Lost teebox game 4-5 rounds ago and in an act of desperation, went back to a steel shafted driver. Since I was a former TM user, I decided to try TM's Supersteel 9.5* w/ the Rifle S-90. My driving is now coming back, w/ more reliable and playable results. I may have lost +/-10 yds. to the 2 Ti drivers I've used (Miz Ti3 9.5 & 975D 8.5)but ease of getting off the tee is better than being "long & wrong". The TM is so easy to set up, align & go after. It is actually light for a steel shafted club but is infinitely easier to hit than the others, which are really light. Relatively cheap fix @ $150.

This is definitely the finest metalwood I have ever hit with. The ball literally explodes off the deep face on this driver. And the sound of a solid strike is unmatched by any other driver I've hit with.
