Prior to purchasing this club, I was using a Orlimar Trimetal 13* 3+wood. The Orlimar is too shallow and easily hit under the ball from the rough. My Orlimar has so many skymarks that I can't even sell it anymore. The RAM concept wood is perfect! The shallow face is not too shallow and not too deep. Once in a while when I really catch it, the shot is only 10 yards shorter than my average driving distance. Customer Service Titleist 975F Similar Products Used: None |

Cannot beat this club for the money, Long, fairly forgiving, good feel. The 23 degree (7) wood is a gem. Similar Products Used: Orlimar, Taylor Made |

RAM Concept LP
The RAM Concept LP woods are the real thing with a low price tag. The feel is excellent, shots can be shaped, and distance is comparable to any other model's. It shows there still are some bargains in the golf world. Customer Service The old RAM company was exceptional; I can't say how the TearDrop relationship is working out. Ram Concept 18 degree
I shoot low 90's and have a tough time hitting accurate from 160-180 as I do not hit a long iron well. Already using a Orlimar driver, I like the small club face. Bought the Ram , no driving range went right to it......the ball flew straight every time. I love this club. It does tend to go very high, but that is good so I can still use it from 160-180 yards out. On mis-hits, you could see it correct itself in flight. If you do not hit long, grab one....for the price is tough to beat and it will stay in the fairway. Similar Products Used: Wilson, Orlimar, |

3w(15 deg) and 5w stiff flex
Six months ago I bought both of these for less than the price of a single Trimetal, Tightlies, etc. Both are easy hitting clubs, nice feel, forgiveness and distance. Off the fairway and out of the rough they both get the ball up quickly, and off the tee a nice easy swing with the 3w nets 230 to 250 yds no problem. Other than the horrible grips, these clubs are A++. Are they better than the more popular(heavily advertised) clubs from Orlimar, Adams, etc. Maybe not. But they're certainly no worse. In fact, of the other similar clubs I've played, the only one I'd buy is the Tightlies. No club fits everyone's swing, but if you want perfomance without the price and hype, these are definitely worth a try. Similar Products Used: Adams, Orlimar, and others |

Like many of the golfer on this site, I purchase the 18 degree after reading all the good review. And what can I said, the wood is almost automatic. Really one of the best buy I ever did. After two round with the 18 degree, I went out and buy the 13 degree too. I would have buy the 23 degree but the shop run out of stock. Have place a reserve list. Ths only thing that I did not give them a perfect 5 is because you cannot really work the ball as in all low profile wood. Similar Products Used: Almost all Callaway and Taylor Made model |

Ram Concept Low Profile #3 & #5 Woods
I read all the reviews on this website and many more from other websites, but I could not make a decision on buying these clubs even though the reviews were good. I'm so glad I finally decided to go ahead and buy them. I can hit the ball so much straighter and longer than I did previously. I was able to take the ball out of 5 inch ruff and a sand trap and still hit it 200+ yards. I even hit it out of the fairway over 250 yards on a 505 yard par 5 to make the green in 2, which I have not been able to do before. Even though I missed my eagle putt I still had the chance for it. I recommend this club to anybody that wants a inexpensive fairway wood that is great for trouble shots and just as good off the tee if you tee the ball low. Similar Products Used: None |

Ram Concept
I am a big believer in RAM products, but the Concept 13* 3 wood just doesn't get it. I admit it is long out of the fairway, but is useless off the tee and out of the rough. I baloon this big time off the tee. I suspect that perhaps the "R" flex shaft at about 248 CPM may be the real culprit. I also believe that it is about 4-6 mm too shallow. For my money, the Maltby Outburst 13* head with a TT EI70 shaft is a superior performer and can be built cheaper than the Ram. One of the very few Ram clubs that I have been disappointed with. I sold the Concept today for what I paid for it, so...... Customer Service Not good since Rudy Slucker (Teardrop) took over i.e., there is no customer service. I am afraid of Ram's future.
