wow! for 30 bucks, you cannot beat this club. i took it to the course for the first tim eyesterday, never having hit it, and lined it up off the tee. other than the fact that the tee shot went to the right (i aimed that way as i counted on the usual mild hook) it went dead straight! after that, i lined it up straight and that is the way it went. i'm getting 240-250 off the tee with it, and just a bit less out of the rough. even a shot i hit off of the toe went just a bit right. really happy with the club -- so happy i just picked up the 18 degree (at ebay.com for 44.50 including shipping for both clubs, 2 headcovers, and a video! -- in conjunction with another 15 degree i'm giving to my brother) and i'm looking forward to ripping that one too! p.s. -- i have the s. shaft version. |

The impact that these clubs deliver is unparallel to any fairway club I have used. I use the 23 degree 7 wood off the tee and average 280+. ( I have hit it 340 yrds! At the Coral Creek Club in Hawaii.) I also own a 15 degree 3 wood that I use off the tee as well, and have hit it almost as far. (I know I am weird). I am very accurate with them, and even off center hits get the distance desired. Customer Service Face scratches fairly easy though. Similar Products Used: Adams Strong 7,9. |

18* & 23*
I was in the market for a 7-wood and bought the 23* model online because of the super low price. I liked it so much I immediately bought the 18* and retired my 19* Orlimar Trimetal. I liked the Orlimar, but I found greater forgiveness in the slightly deeper face of the Ram. Also, the stiff flex shaft was perfect for me. Customer Service Smooth transaction from TGW. Ram Concept LP 15/18 degree
I disliked Low Profile fairway woods until I tried these beauties. I duffed my drive and left myself 265 yds to the green on a par five, hit the 18 degree to back of green and made birdie. Hit the 15 degree 275 allday off the tee. I hate to see Ram discontinue this stick. Wow is all I can say. It would be worth $100, its that good from any lie or surface. Try em you''''ll like em. For $30.00 a great buy. Customer Service never needed Similar Products Used: Adams, Mitsushiba, Titleist PT13 |

I saw the reviews for this club and thought....what the hell, for only thirty bucks I''''''''''''''''ll give it a try. Now If I ever have one of those days where I feel like breaking my driver in half,I''''''''''''''''m pulling out this club with confidence, 240 down the middle everytime. Ram Concept 15*
I hate to write a review that is overly biased, but when it comes to this club, I have to say it really gets the job done. I switched to it from a 13* Olimar fairway wood, and it was the best decision I''ve made in my game ( other than going from the Taylor Made 320 to the 360). I play well, and work hard on my game. I want a club that can give me the results that I''ve worked hard for. The Olimar is a good club, but the Ram is longer, more workable, and has a higher ball flight that lands alot softer. I generally hit the ball long, but I couldn''t squeeze out more than 230 with my Olimar with my best swing, which pretty much prevented me from reaching most par 5''s in 2. At my level, that''s where you score. This club is easily 20 yards longer with an easier swing. The Olimar always gave me a right to left ball flight, while this one is generally straight, but easy to draw or fade. Overall, I would say try before you buy, but if you can''t then pick up this baby at www.tgw.com on clearance for 30 bucks. The grip will kill your hands, so you''ll have to replace it. With the money you''ll have left over you can get that done and have enough left over to play a round of golf. Similar Products Used: Olimar, Callaway, Taylor Made, etc, etc, etc... |

Ram concepts 15 deg
I recently bought a set of Ram FX irons. These were to replace a second hand set of Ram Fastback 2 that had been played out. Being pleased with the performance of the new irons it was now time to replace my Ram persimmon woods. I have not been lucky with my 3 wood but happy with my current 5 wood, it played well off of any lie, but it was tired. Three of my friends and I decided to get a jump on spring and spent a week in Myrtle Beach SC. What a great place to play golf! I purchased the new Ram Concepts 15 deg on-line from TGW. This was delivered to the hotel in Myrtle Beach and was there when I arrived. I played this fairway wood often through the week and only mis hit it once although I did not hit from a tee box. The club played best from a good lie and each use gave me a straight shot 160 - 180 yds with good trajectory. The early morning holes presented very wet second cut roughs but the club cut through this as if it was not there. Some shots were into the green on par fives, it carried well and it allowed the ball to sit well. The regular flex Ram tempoweight graphite shaft does not require a behemoth to hit clean and far. This is a good looking, and versatile club. The Ram grip is not the most comfortable and I will replace it. I would recommend this club to any golfer of my aptitude, (score 90 -100) as an excellent alternative to much more expensive fairway woods. I have since retired my current 3 & 5 woods, (and thinking of the 3 iron) and stored them in the attic for my nephew. My golf bag is now one club lighter and more fun to play. Customer Service TGW handled my on-line purchase professionnaly and the club was delivered on time, undamaged. I am concerned however for the future of Ram Golf, live on!! Similar Products Used: I have tried Adams tightlies, Alien driving iron 16 deg and a variety of 3 woods. |

None Like many other reviewers on this site, I bought the 23 degree RAM concept fairway wood (with stiff shaft) based on price alone. I wanted to try a 7 wood, but I didn''t want to break the bank. It turned out to be the best golf purchase I''ve ever made. The club is easy to hit out of any lie, and has enabled me to hit some of most best shots. I think we all know that the biggest asset in golf is confidence, and if you think your equipment works well, then you''ll probably hit the ball well. After using this club once, I have not lost confidence in it since. I just ordered the 3 and 5 woods too. Customer Service n/a Similar Products Used: n/a |

Concept 3, 5, & 7 wood
Strength:
None
Weakness:
None I found these clubs for sale online. I purchased the 13 degree 3 wood, 18 degree 5 wood and 23 degree 7 wood. I love these clubs. They are easy to hit, long, and accurate. The regular flex shaft works great for me. I am not a long hitter, but occasionally hit a drive about 250 yards with my Callaway Titanium Driver. For the price, I don''t think you can beat this fairway wood. I have tried many fairway woods, and these are the best, by far. The face is shallow, so the ball gets airborne easily. Customer Service One of the clubs I purchased had a low swing weight. I am in the process of getting it replaced by the manufacturer. 3 and 5 Ram Concept Low Profile
I was looking for new 3 and 5 wood. I just tried these at the range, and they hit awesome. Not quite as long as full 3 or 5 woods, but really accurate and consistent, even on mishits. I hit the 3 straighter than I've ever hit a 3 wood, right around 230/240, I hit the 5 wood really well, right aroun 220. I love these clubs. Best buy I've ever made!
