This is the absolute worst golf club i have ever hit. The sweetspot is about the size of a pin head. My friend and i both got them of Ebay and they both went back on ebay after hitting them for one round. I might be jumping to conclusions, but i couldn't even see a hint of being able to hit this club. You might think the copper inserts will get the club under the ball well, but most of the time it either gets too under or not under enough, yielding embarassing top-offs and pop-ups. I recently bought a Callaway Steelhead 3 and I cant even describe how much happier I am with that.

For the price, this club is great. I had a wiked slice with my old set of woods, but the Orlimars straightened my drives and fairway shots out. It was the first time that I bought a graphite shaft and found that if I tried killing the ball I would see my slice come out. A nice easy swing improved my distance and acuracy. Off the fairway, I havn't hit a poor shot yet. As soon as I recieved my 2 Orlimar woods, my score dropped an average of 5 shots. I am totally happy with these woods.

Check out Egghead.com for good prices.

I am very surprised by the poor reviews that a few peopla are giving this club. I find it to be very consistently accurate and excellent off the tee. It sits very nicely behind the ball on the fairway and you can squarely connect with quite a bare lie. It is a little light and doesn't do as well out of thick rough, however. But still, if the rough is that thick, you should be hitting an iron anyway.

Off the tee, this club is magnificent. I can hit 'em straight and long if the ball's teed low. On the ground, it's a different story. The Trimetal has a rather small sweet spot and can be very unforgiving in off-center hits. When you connect, it's a thing of beauty. Shots go straight and long. I bought this club because my regular 3 wood was being re-shafted, and I thought the Trimetal would provide for a little more flexibility in tight lies and short rough. It simply hasn't lived up to my expectations. Prices have gone into the crapper in the last year or so, and it's easy to see why.

Have found the club for me. I cannot believe the ratings I have seen on this club. This is the best hitting club I have ever hit. I will be selling my Callaway's (driver and 3 wood) as soon as I buy a Orlimar 3wd.

Took me a whole bucket of golf balls to get use to. Once you do it's a sweet club. When I started back playing golf used lots of oversize. Hard to get use to club with much smaller surface area to hit with. The club has good control but lost little distance. I will take control over distance any day.

I am a bad golfer! Before I bought these clubs I shot consistently over 100, could not hit a fairway to save my life, and pent too much money on lost balls. Now I am driving the ball straight as an arrow with the 13*--no tee required. I am often out-driving better golfers. I usually hear good golfers complain about these clubs--can't hit out of rough, can't work the ball, etc. There'e no need. Grip it and rip it and watch the ball go. These clubs make golf much more fun for me as I am finally breaking 100 consistently!

I do not own this club, but have tries it on several occasions. I have tried the 13 deg. out on the course that I play. It is a very nice club on the fairway or in the light rough. It is by far the worst club I have ever attempted to use of the tee. I have only ever hit duffs with it and I would highly recommend that you try it on your local course before buying it. All-in-all a very average club.

A very good, easy to hit fairway club hampered by a brutal cheap shaft. Great feel and sound. But , replacing cheap shaft a problem because of .365 hosel. Only good shaft available is a Proforce 65. Has anyone done this switch? Any feedback requested.
