Great distance, but the too easy to pop up, not good in the Oklahoma wind. Not enough club for the price.

Demo'd the Orlimar 5 wood last summer - couldn't believe how well they performed. Was really struggling with my fairway wood play and found distance and accuracy I didn't know I could achieve. Have moved from using Great Big Bertha Driver and 5 wood and Adams Tight Lies 3 to all Orlimar woods. Was putting for an eagle on the first par 5 at Bay Hill when I played there last month - a first for me.
Noticed that the ball flight is much lower and more penetrating than that of previous woods. Would unhesitatingly recommend these clubs for fellow high handicappers

after i learned how to hit them they have paid off big time! the 14* is amazing and ive made some unbelievable shots with it. very easy to hit from any lie short of deep rough, i stuck the green from 200 yds from out of a fairway bunker. the main key to hitting these woods is limiting your back swing and take a smooth easy stroke.

I have just bought a 9.5+ driver. Still trying to get the most out of it. The top of the head does not have any marks therefore slight alignment problem. Distance, accuracy and forgiveness is good although i don't really like the sound when it comes off the clubface. I think I might switch to a 8+ to try to get more distance. Call me a distance freak. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the club for the money paid. Not totally satisfied. still working on it.... at least it is better than my previous (beginner set) driver. And the stiif shaft has certainly helped me in my control - previous driver prob. too whippy. (Presently, i drive around 240-250 yards.)

Have all Callaway in bag. Pro recommended the 5 wood Orlimar Plus. Tried it, didn't like it. Played with it for a week or two. Now, I can't do without it. The best damn club for hitting straight off the fairway when you need 200 yards. Out of the trees on hard ground. I have even used it from 50 yards. Just choke down and decend the blow. Amazing club. Other player's can't believe what I do with this club. If I didn't have a Scottie, I might have tried putting too. Buy it.

I emailed Orlimar to tell them I thought there covers sucked. After all, Callaway covers really protect. Got a new cover within a week. These guys are good.

I like these clubs a lot. I have the 16 and 20 degree, EI-70 firm shafts. They hit the ball high and straight, I find it easier to draw the ball with these than some others I've tried. Like the feel and sound on solid shots, seem to have good distance and are fairly forgiving. Lofts are a bit different with Orlimar, for example the 16 degree which traditionally is a 3 wood loft plays more like a 4 wood. I think they will work best for mid to low handicappers.

I just purchased the Orlimar Trimetal Plus 14 Degree fairway with with a stiff graphite shaft. I am a fairly consistent golfer but I've been having some trouble with hooks. This new club is set up to draw with its 1 degree closed club face so I was a bit worried that it would only accentuate my problems with the hook. However, I was very surprised to find that the club is straight and for me promotes a very pleasing draw with a perfect trajectory. It doesn't require much effort to hit it a long way. In fact, trying to muscle it just doesn't work. I'm going to buy the Trimetal Plus driver to see if it's as good.

Absolutely love it. This club can easily be hit 250 plus off the fairway. If you consistently mess your drive up this club is for you. If you have problems getting under the ball this will do it easily, and leave a divot trying. Great club

Takes a while to learn to hit but well worth it. Sliced like crazy until I figured out how to grip it. Now it is a true boring long drive. I have since hit Ping ISi, Wilson Fatshaft and a Cobra.....I prefer the feel at impact and the distance of the orlimar. Plus on par 5's, I use it as a fairway wood with great results......
highly recommended club

Awesome distance!!! But...you must have a grooved swing to get the most out of it. Presently using the EI70 shaft but may switch to UST 65. Love this club!!
