These have replaced my irons from 3-6! They are simply GREAT. Easier for ME to hit than those irons which they replaced. I say ME because I have a buddy who has tried them both on the range and the course and prefers his irons. For me they have given me the confidence that I, like so many golfers, have needed in the fairway. With this confidence in this aspect of the game, I finally started hitting in the high 80's more often than not. The feel, the power, the overall consistency, have made these clubs a permanent fixture in my bag. Extremely well made and easier to hit. I have the Nike CPR 30 degree and like it very much as well. Tried similar models of the Taylor Made, but didn't care for them at all. They just didn't have the feel or the balance for me. Build quality seemed somewhat inferior. 2005 Cobra Baffler 2/R 18 deg. Reg. Graph. Adilia NV shaft
This club is best described as others have said as "cheating." It's like going from a 300cc driver to a 460cc. There's just so much more forgiveness and room for error. I can hit my Adams Redline Driver about 225 yards. Then I hit my TM RAC OS 5 iron thru PW reasonablely straight and in the air. But I've never been able to hit my 3 or 4 iron consistently. I've never been able to hit my 7 wood with any accuracy. This club is very comfortable and goes about 180-200 yards for me which is a distance I always was very uncomfortable with on the tee box and off the fairway. I used this club to hit the bunker left of the green on a 180 yard par 3 which I was very pleased with. Normally I would have been in the woods with a fairway wood or short with a long iron. I also used this on several par 5's. I was very pleased. I never shanked the ball like I often can with other fairway woods or long irons. Again, the best word to describe this club is "cheating." Cobra Baffler 18
The club pro showed up at thie range today and presented me with the Cobra Baffler with an Aldila NV 85 stiff shaft to try. The club was 18 degrees. I could have put a hat over the first 6 balls I hit with this club. It was like cheating. The current club champion showed up and we offered the club to him for a few shots. He stated, prior to hitting, that he had tried other clubs of this variety and really did not care for them. Well, we couldn't get the club out of his hands. I know it is going in my bag and I bet it will find it'd way in his. Try one!! |

New 18* & 23* Baffler Hybrid
Bought these clubs to replace my 4 & 3 irons and my 5 wood. It's like cheating with these clubs. Very easy to hit, they go high and long, work well from the rough and even fairway bunkers. They have improved my long game tremendously. The feel is sweet and very solid with the stock NV HL shafts. Once I got over the looks of hybrid clubs, I began to really appreciate these clubs. Any hybrid I believe will improve play but I found these to suit me best. Priced reasonably too. Customer Service No contact. Similar Products Used: Hogan CFT Hybrid (also good). |

I play pings g2 irons and have the hl 3& 4 iron which I hit ok ,but I've never had any luck hitting hybred irons or woods ( 7 woods etc.) well I tried this new cobras at a demo day and bought one on ebay the next week. The 23* says 4 iron but its more like a 2 iron distance for me very easy to hit straight and also great for texas wedge type shots,I can leave my long irons in the trunk now .Very nice nv shaft. Cobra baffler 3/R hybrid
This is a review for the 2004/5 Cobra Baffler Hybrid. Let's face it. Sometimes you hit your 3 and 4 irons well, but when the pressure is on, nothing pisses you off more than a badly hit long iron approach. I got angry enough at mine that I just had to try out the Cobra hybrids. It makes a good shot automatic. They just feel so solid, better than a wood or an iron. They also seemed easier to hit than the Taylor Made hybrids which I find universally true with Cobra products...and cheaper. For me, the 3/R fit a distance gap in the 180-185 range between my 5 iron and 5 wood that I just couldn't hit to reliably with an iron. Others probably hit it a little longer. The ball flight is higher than my long irons as well, which was the clencher. I may get the 5/R as well. Similar Products Used: Taylor Made hybrids |

These fairway woods are getting a bit dated, but these things still rip it! I got the 3 and 5 at almost zero $$$, and they hit as straight and long as my Callaway Steelhead and my Sonartec SS-02. If you like to spend the bucks and impress your pals, cool. If not, try to find one of these in the used barrel. They will suprize you! Cobra Baffler Multimetal 22* Graphite Stiff Shaft
This club came out a couple years back but at a $220 retail price. Got it at closeout price. I was always intrigued by this club. I was looking at a replacement for my 3 iron and this club is the ticket. Superb off the tee, great off the deck. When you're looking at a tight par 4, 210 yard approach on a par 5 or a long par 3, I anticipate this club will deliver controlled shots that track to the target. You have to swing this club like an iron not like a wood. Customer Service N/A Similar Products Used: Mizuno Hi-Fli |
