Cleveland Launcher Fairway Woods

Cleveland Launcher Fairway Woods

DESCRIPTION

• The maraging steel face has a higher strength-to-weight ratio than standard 17-4 stainless steel. The high strength characteristics allow us to create an extremely thin and lightweight face. This makes the face “hotter”, providing maximum distance.
• The fairway woods offer optimal face depth, which provides a large hitting area for increased forgiveness.
• The combination of a pear shape and a proportional head size make it easy to square the face at address, providing confidence time after time.
• A traditional score line pattern ensures proper spin and launch angles, even in wet or heavy grass conditions.

Solid feeling clubs that are long with perfect trajectory. Forgiving clubs that are, again, long and straight. Easily the best fairway woods I''''ve ever hit.

Recently purchased a cleveland 17* launcher fairway wood, looking for a little more ease in hitting off the turf without having to worry about balooning. This club is above my expectations.I was torn between the titleist 975f or the launcher and opted for the cleveland.I found it to be far more forgiving, with a great piercing ball flight. The feel isnt as solid as the titleist but the overall performance more than makes up for that. Thin hits still get airborn, and off the toe you lose little distance and correction is excellent.I also prefered the deeper face on the cleveland over the titleist.Overall a great club.

This woods provide explosive distances. Easy to hit. I like the optimized face depth too. Hit the 3W off the tee super long. Nice feel. Look great, too.

Unlike the Cleveland Launcher Driver, I found the fairway woods hard to hit. The very small head and even small sweet spot caused all kinds of problems... I found the fairway woods, unlike the driver, to be totally useless. I gave them away.

Model Reviewed: Launcher 13* 3-wood stiff

Haven''t researched or tried much fairway woods, but this one is a keeper. Ball flight is ideal, feels & sounds great off the face, distance is long for me (210 yd, 10-15 off from driver), easy to hit off the deck, straight, also easy to draw, club feels very balance with the stiff Fujikura designed shaft; highly recommended.

nothing even comes close with forgiveness, looks, price, and oooh man DISTANCE. ever since i''ve switched from my 975f 14.5 dg s300 steel shaft. I''ve gained an average of 20-30 yards. Off the ground i''ve hit this thing as far as 280yds, off the tee... i''ve driven this thing 300 yards exactly (hole #14 la purisima golf course in southern california) with 3 other witnesses. It''s a great club, easy to control... very very forgiving and loooong. Go buy one.

Model Reviewed: 13*, 19* with YS7 stiff shaft

These yield seriously long distance. Very good response off the face, and the YS7 stiff shaft is just about perfect for these heads. Easy swing gives a nice draws. Best for tight long courses where distance/accuracy is needed. I thought the driver will do the same, but results are otherwise. The other fairway woods that come close are the Ping I3, which I''''m keeping in the storage for now. Launchers are my new babes...

Never had quite a success in hitting 3 Wood well. My 2-day old Launcher solved my problem overnight. Dist is great, about 200-210m. I loved the way ball takes over, like an airplane taking off. Very straight and forgiving club. It is really good value for money
