Cleveland Launcher Fairway Wood
I tested many different fairway woods before I settled on the 13* launcher. The thing that finally sold me on these woods wereh that they were square at set-up. Unlike most fairway woods which are closed faced or have significant heel weighting, this seems to have a neutral set-up so that you can hit the shot shape you intend. The other attribute that I really liked was the length of this club. The ball really seems to jump off the face. I was 10 to 15 yards longer with this wood than I was with anything comparable in loft. The trajectory with the stock Fujikura shaft is about midrange, with no real ballooning shot tendency, but rather a more piercing flight with the 13* model. It seems quite forgiving, even though it has a classic look and size. I think handicaps of all ranges would find this club useful. I'm very happy with these clubs. I played the Ping i3 fairway woods last year, and I find the Launchers to be noticeably superior. They took me a round to get used to, but after that they became the best clubs in my bag. The 13* is great off the tee... I've outdriven several of my long-hitting friends with it, even when they use driver. Customer Service not used Similar Products Used: ping, cobra |

I've given away/traded my Callaways that I've played for years. Now playing the 13* & 17* as my strong three, strong five woods. They are great! The 13* gets the ball up just great, actually bought it to be a control driving club, replacing my 13* Ping I3. The launcher is much more consistent, I love the Fuji shafts, so much so I went for the 9.5* driver (best I've ever played by far) and the 17* as well. I could not be more pleased with each one. In fact I'm throwing out my 3 iron and getting the 22* as well. The feel of these woods is just so solid, I hit them straight or with a little draw (which with the Callways was a nasty hook, sneaking in at the most inopportune times!) and they are long. They are equally trustworthy off the deck or a tee. Beautiful work, Cleveland! Customer Service Have not used. Similar Products Used: Callaway BB, GBB, Ping I3 |

Launcher 15* 3 wood
I was planning to add the Callaway Steelhead III to my bag to replace an old Taylor fairway driver, but I bought this after hitting about 10 balls at the range - it felt that good. I played the first round with it today and mostly left the driver in the bag to hit the 3 and get a feel for it. First ball off the tee was 270 with a little draw. The feel and sound are totally solid. You have to take a smooth swing, but the distance is prety effortless. If I overswing with it, I pull it left, but put a good swing on it and the trajectory is great. Tee it a little low and it takes of low and rises. Tee it a little higher and it just scorches deep. I hit 3 other ball off the tee between 250 and 270 and with a little fade or draw. It is hot off the deck as well - I hit several between 240 and 250. It is just sweet and pure. I would not tell you to go out and buy it, but I would say that you may be making a mistake if you are in the market and don''t hit it. Customer Service None needed so far. 15 stiff
For me, hitting a fairway wood was like mission impossible. I was the king of topping the ball and if not that then the monster slice. Then I purchased the Launcher. I have played two rounds with it. I have hit 8 of 9 beautiful shots. I think the club is a steal for the price. Similar Products Used: Callaway, Adams, Ping |

All in all, a good club. Excelent distance, good feel, and forgiving. I have played Quadpro 16 & 19 degree dual rails for the last two years and like everyone else here, apparantly, absolutly love them. The Launcher is longer but lacks the sweet feel of the Quadpro. Don''t get me wrong, the launcher line is great but I just prefer the feel of the Quadpro''s. At $200 a pop I expected more from the people that blessed us with the quadpro line. By the way, the Launcher driver kicks much bootie! If you have not hit it please do yourself a favor and do so! cleveland launcher 13degree
The cleveland launcher is a ball killing monster that should be outlawed in most states. I bought the 3 wood and was very happy. I don''t use a driver so I need a club that will get me my distance. My carry with this club is now 245-260. Very forgiving and easy to work left or right. Customer Service no comment Similar Products Used: callaway, mizuno, goldwin |

Launcher 19 degree stiff stock shaft
I have used and enjoyed other Cleveland products (Quadpro Ti driver, Quadpro 3 wood, and an older Tour Action 3wood). This one does not disappoint. Excellent trajectory on this 5 wood. Very solid from the tee or from the deck. Nice straight shots with an occassional draw. Feels even better than the Quadpro 3 wood which is a solid club. This club replaced a Steelhead 5 wood (inconsistent dispersion due to the very closed face, and a Taylor Made Rescue club) Customer Service Used in the past - excellent Similar Products Used: Quadpro Ti driver, Quadpro 3 wood, Steelhead 5 wood, Taylor Made Rescue Club. |

Cleveland 15 and 19 deg stiff stock Fuji gold shaft
I absolutely love these fairway woods. You just line the ball up in the middle of your stance and smack it like an iron! The 19 degree is so easy to hit! The 15 degree I line up a little left center between my driver and my 19 degree wood. The ball explodes off the ground. They are so easy to hit. I bought these woods four months after I bought the 9.5 degree driver. I attended a Cleveland Demo Day in late March and tried out everything they had. I must admit that I like the YS7 shaft for the driver is better than the current shaft. However, the stock shaft is incredible for the fairway woods. Because my confidence with these fairway woods have improved so much, I use them off the tee! I hit the 19 degree on short par 4''s and the 15 degree on longer par 4''s and short par 5''s. For the mid to low 600 yard par fives, I still use the Cleveland Launcher 9.5 deg Driver. I hit the 19 degree between 215 to 225, the 15 degree between 235 to 245 and the driver 260+ My driver speed is 107 mph. The accuracy of the woods will give anyone confidence when they step up to the box. I highly recommend them for the price. Customer Service Excellent. Washington Golf matched an internet site which was selling the woods for $165 bucks. Similar Products Used: Calloway Steel Head woods. |
