X Hybrid
Callaway X Hybrid 3, 21 degree loft. Picked it up today after seeing the advertisement for its release. Chose the steel shaft after feeling the graphite shaft. A bit heavier but doesn't seen to effect anything (maybe a little less distance compared to the graphite). I love the club and probably wouldn't have gone with anything else. Ball trajectory is easily manipulated and all but few go straight with ease. The club face also allows you to easily line up the club at address. |

Callaway X HOT
I just started playing a year ago and I have already tried out about a half dozen woods. This club is new on the market and I had to try it. I have used the original Callaway 3 wood and was happy with the club but I wanted more distance since I use my 3 wood on the tee about 90% of the time. I could get 200-220 yds on a solid hit with the original X 3 wood in reg flex. This new X HOT had a lower trajectory (which is odd since they are both 15 deg) and flew about 20 yards longer. A few drives went well over 250 and dead straight. That was unheard of for me with a 3 wood.

I've had this club in my bag for the last several month to see if it could replace my Zero Tolerance Crown Jewel 3 wood, which I've had about 8 years (by far the longest tenure of any club in my bag).

Callaway X 3 wood graphite shaft
I play in the UK and am a 9 handicap. I've been searching for a 3 wood for years. I has the old original callaway steelhead for a long time but changed it on a whim and stupidly part exchanged it about 3 years ago. Have been struggling ever since and tried an R7 TP, Taylormade V steel and a couple of others. I went to try the callaway X fairway 3 wood at a local range after reading positive reviews on the internet. They only had a regular graphite (I would normally use firm/stiff) but I fell in love with this club straight away. It looks really good behind the ball, hits it long, is easy to control and makes a great sound on impact. I was so impressed that I called around to find a shop with a stiff graphite shaft and went and bought it and put it straight in my bag, the night before a big semi final match at my club. My first two shots with it were off the tee and the fairway on a par 5 (3rd hole). I knocked it on in 2 and eagled the hole for the first time ever. I'm not telling this story to brag, just to illustrate what a feeling of confidence this club gives. It is by far the best 3 wood I have ever owned and I have now added a 7 wood too in the same spec which is equally good. I thoroughly recommend that you try this club and hope you have as much success and enjoyment with it as I have had. |

Callaway X Tour 15*
I have to admit that I haven’t used many 3 woods in the same range as this; most that I have used are a fair bit cheaper. Saying that, this is by miles the best fairway wood I have ever used. It is easy to hit, has a beautiful penetrating flight with great distance. It is also very easy to work. I got it with a stiff Fujikura tour platform graphite shaft, which for me is a bit different, I normally prefer a steel shaft as I feel you get better control with them, but the Fujikura shaft is great. Overall I love this club, and am very glad I paid the bit extra for a decent club. Similar Products Used: Wilson Dd 6, Taylor Made V Steel, R7 ST. |

Ping i5 irons
Recently got these irons. They are fantastic. The feel of these clubs are far superior than other ones. I tried the TaylorMade OS Racs, and they had no feel whatsoever. In addition, they are incredibly forgiving. You hit it a little fat, and you won't lose as much as you think. Fitting system makes these irons a step above others Customer Service Excellent...Had my clubs in within a week Similar Products Used: TaylorMade Rac OS, Mizuno MP-23 |

Callaway X 3 wood (15 degree)
I put this club in my bag last week, more for a secondary option off the tee rather than an actual fairway option. My Titleist 983 can be a fickle animal as any owner can attest. It wasn't cheap, but in retrospect, well worth it. Last Saturday I didn't remove the cover of the Titleist driver. This club is delightfully crisp and Looooong off the tee. I was 240+ on a decent strike and at least 220 when hit thin (my tendency). I'll take that any day. You may find my Titleist in the used rack soon if this keeps up. Best three wood I have ever hit. I can bomb this thing 250-270 off the tee! It sounds sweet too. It may be my favorite club in my bag. Customer Service None Similar Products Used: Vsteel,R7,Ping G5,R5 Dual |

Callaway X Fairway Wood
I've been a King Cobra man for a while but was dissapointed in the F Speed 3 wood I has recently purchased. I had been looking for a 5 wood or a 2 iron Hybrid but my Golf Pro recommend the Callaway X. I demoed the Callaway X 5 wood and had to have it. I love my Callaway X 5 wood so much that I got rid of my King Cobra and replaced it with the Callaway X 3 wood. Customer Service Went through my local Golf Pro shop and the service is always great. Callaway X Fairway Wood
Got the 3 fairway wood with a regular Fujikura shaft. Seems to be a little stiffer than a normal Regular shaft would be but after a few swings you'll get used to it. Took me 2 visists to the driving range though before I got the hang of it but wow, you won't need to try hard to hit the ball straight and flying. You just hit it and reach the green in 2! Easy to hit off the deck and i'm now averaging 230 or 240 with a good roll. I had to adjust with the set up though cuz i'm used to a square club and this one is a little close. You wont ever slice with this club but you gotta square it so you wont hook it. Love the sound, Love the feel, and loving it more every round. Callaway is Callaway - they have good drivers, fairwaywoods and heavenwoods. Give it a try! Customer Service Great! Similar Products Used: Callaway Big Bertha Heavenwood |
