I love this club, straight away I knew. I have gone from a 14 to a 8. Straight, long and the blue face is great. I love this club and Iam going to buy a 3wood next. Similar Products Used: Taylor made , other Callaway Woods |

What can I say about these fairway woods but WOW! Never have found a fairway wood I could hit consistently until I hit these. I bought the 3 wood first and after only three weeks I bought the 5 and 7 then gave my dad the Orlimars I had in my bag. Great Clubs! Similar Products Used: Orlimar, Adams |

This is a really nice fairway wood. It hits long and straight, and it is easy to use from all kinds of lies. I used to have an Orlimar Trimetal 17 degr., but this Steelhead is much more reliable. Similar Products Used: Orlimar Trimetal |

Are you currently searching for that perfect fairway wood to reach those long par 5's in 2? Well here it is folks... This puppy is the best club ever created. I bought the steel shaft thinking I could hit it like a monster, what a big mistake. Got that piece o' junk Memphis 10 shaft replaced with the best graphite shaft available: Innovative TD350. Never heard of Innovative? You will very soon my friends, because everybody and their moms are getting these shafts. Simply Sweet. Customer Service Super. I got to speak with Ely yesterday. Great stick, nice feel, deep enough face(no popups in the rough) yet still high ball flight comparable to low-profile woods...all in all VERY good woods! Similar Products Used: Tight Lies Original, Firesole, BB Warbird |

Steelhead 2W
I looked for and luckily found this used after reading the great reviews. What a find! I'm hitting a lot of the par fives now or am on the fringe, making the game a lot more fun. It's true what they say, the feel is very sweet and solid and the sweetspot large. It is a blast to just crush one on a par five. This wood is very easy to hit and get great results with. Many top pros still use the original Steelhead instead of the Steelhead Plus. The original drivers had face cave-in problems I hear, but that should be less of an issue with the higher lofted fairway clubs. The 2W hits much lower and further than the 3+ which I also have (but will sell). It is also a great driver for short tight par fours. Best fairway woods I've hit. Be advised: the graphite shafts run much weaker than stated. Similar Products Used: Cleveland QuadPro, Taylor Made, Cobra |

A very straight club that is pretty consistant. I can fade it easier when I want to and can draw more accurate as a result of purchasing the club. One thing I love about it is no matter how I seem to hit it the trajectory is always the same so you know how the ball will come out. Excellent forgiveness for such a small head. The only complaint is it somewhat lacks distance of the previous Fairway woods I have tried. Similar Products Used: Mizuno, Taylor Made, Calloway, Orlimar, Tight Lies |

This club has a very solid feel on contact with the ball. I use it off the tee mostly as the course I play is only 6700 yards long. I average around 260 - 270 off the tee with it. The Memphis 10 shaft is a little soft for me but it makes me really focus on not over swinging the club. I have a Callaway WarBird Strong 3 (13° loft)with 6.5 Rifle shaft in it that feels much better to me but is not as long. I wish Callaway would offer another option in steel shafts for this club. The sound the club makes when hitting the ball is great. Like the sound of a sledge hammer hitting solidly on a rail road spike. I do have trouble with hitting a fade shot from the fairway with it. Probably a function of the shaft being a little softer than my other 3 wood as I don't seem to have to struggle to hit a fade with it. Overall I think it is a good club but I sure would like a broader option in steel shafts for it. I could always re-shaft but I hate doing that to a practically new club.
