Well, have to say that my driver nowadays is my safest club. Only missed one fairway last time I played. I have the 10* warbird with RHC96 firmflex shaft, but Im going to change to a stiffer one. As I started out playing a few months ago I had an awful slice, but I have worked on it and now with the help of my Warbird, driving's my safest part of my game. This is a great driver that I think are a little underrated. Have to say it is my best spend 50 bucks ever...

Have not hit another driver I like as well as the 'old' Warbird. Just recently purchased 2 more (another 8* and a 9* on Ebay) as my 'original' is getting 'hit out' and I don't want to be without my Warbird. Work the ball and hit it a ton with great feel. Sweet Rocket of Callaway!

Never needed. Reshaft/regrip and steel wool the head...they're fine!

Bought the WarBird off of eBay for $65, and it came w/ dynamic gold shaft. I immediately noticed that the ball travels much faster than with my previous driver. I'm sure the combination of the Callaway head with a dynamic gold shaft increased the ball velocity. I consistently hit my drive straight, between 240-260 in the air. I have good swing speed, and will never go back to graphite. Wow.

I got a set of used 5, 9 and 11 Warbirds and they are awesome...! Real easy to hit. My shots are usually pretty straight and these clubs are definitely rewarding for your efforts. Both carry and roll and accuracy are great for a good hit and even mis-hits frequently get good distance. Very forgiving and work well both on the fairway and the rough (esp the 9 and 11). Great clubs that I'm gonna keep for a long long time..! By the way... my score has dropped by over 20 strokes since using these woods and the GBB driver.

One extra comment... I used them in a game under pouring rain once and it was hard to hit the 5 wood that time. But the 9 and 11 both worked perfectly under all conditions.

This is perhaps the best fairway club you can buy regardless of price. Callaway had it right when they made the warbirds. I hit this long and with a beautiful draw. I reshafted this club with a Dynamic Gold s300 shaft since the Memphis shaft sucked. A great combination! You can get these clubs cheap on the auction sites i.e. E-Bay.

These two clubs are amazing, I find myself hitting on average 270+ yrds with the Driver and the 4 wood is equally as good up to 240 yrds off the gound. I love these clubs, once you get used to the small face. They make an excellant noice aswell. I bought the clubs reconditioned for £80 each.

This driver is good for the high 70's golfer to the low 90's golfer. The head is a bit smaller than the newer drivers coming out now but as long as you can hit it on the clubface, it is going far. For me, my average drive is 250, but every once in a while I just connect with the ball sending it 300+. Get this club with 2 degrees less loft than your used to and get a
stiffer shaft. Like I said, as long as you can hit it on the face, this driver will work for you.
