It isn't the best or the worst. My only problem with it was spending too much money on it. They can be had for cheaper now since the Tight Lies 2s are out. |

Fantastic product. The clubhead feels slightly heavier than most giving you the impression that you will generate lots of club head speed. The club gets down and stays down and really makes great contact very consistenty. Driver has been put in the garage permanently. Similar Products Used: None |

I was getting nowhere off the tee with my driver when a friend said try my 3 wood; well I hit a solid 220 straight down the middle!! Bought one for myself and after a few buckets at the range took it to the course and went from a 51 to a 41, no OBs or lost balls! I was so impressed I went out and got the strong 5. Whether it's in my head or not, I LOVE these clubs; try'em. Similar Products Used: ping, orlimar |

This club has improved my game tremendously! Since I play from the rough most of time, this club makes hitting the ball effortless and extremely accurate. Similar Products Used: Callaway Big Bertha 3 Wood, Taylor Made Bubble Burner (original) 3 Wood. |

Just thought I'd chime in with my opinion of the Tight Lies 2 fairway woods. I just bought mine recently off ebay and I decided to use it this past weekend. I used it on 12 holes and had 11 nice shots. My worse shot was a pretty severe uphill lie and I hit a worm burner about 100 yards. (Probably not the best club for that situation). The other 11 shots were all around 200-210 yards and stayed on the fairway. A bigger swinger can probably it this thing 230-250 easy. I just ordered the TL2 3 wood. Some of these guys wrote that the club doesn't instill confidence at address. For me, after hitting 11 great shots out of 12... it doesn't matter what it looks like after the results that I had. It's not awe-inspiring to look at, but I think the club looks good. One of the guys in my foursome (who I just met that day) asked if he could try it after seeing me hit it so well. That's a first for me... I was never confident with fairway woods before I bought this Tight Lies 2 5 wood. Give these clubs a try. Adams' newest models have the bi-matrix shaft. I can't beleive my eyes reading some of these reviews - if this club is not the best fairway wood of alltime I'll eat my hat. I was struggling with some big oversize woods before - topping slicing and allsorts. I preferred to whip out my 3 iron instead on a long approach nd hope to leave myself a chip and putt. The other day though as I stopped at the driving range to demo some Cobra's I saw this Adams strong 5 with a graphite shaft in good condition so I took that out with the irons. I ended up buying both. The first shot I hit with the wood went like never before with my wood shots off the deck - swooping high into the air with a boring ball flight. Amazing - I hit 3 more just to prove it to myself - perfect each time. I hit a couple of fades - again outstanding. The same with a draw. This club is idiot proof. Its so easy to use. I love the look at address - I just know that I'm gonna nail it each time. These clubs are the king! Similar Products Used: Mizuno T-Zoid,Wilson Fatshaft. |

This is a crap club. At address it looks dumb and does not inspire confidence. Its looks is also confirmed by its performance. It either balloons the ball or sends balls out of control right and left. Takes too much effort to get used to which should not be the case. Don't bother with these. Similar Products Used: None |

I've been playing for approx. a year and I play a lot. Found it time to start upgrading my starting set. First bought the Adams SC Titanium driver (which I highly recommend), and then decided to go with the TL2 fairway woods. Got the 3 wood first with stiff steel. I hit this club straight and long once I learned not to stay down on the ball. Customer Service none Similar Products Used: Call.Steelhead, Orlimar (not bad), Original Tight Lies |

These clubs are awesome, I would recommend all three lofts. I just recently started teeing off with the 3 wood due to the fact I slice my driver. With a nice easy swing the 3 wood will send the ball straight and 230+ with little effort. If you value a 230+ Similar Products Used: Orlimar trimetal plus, Firesoles |
