Adams Tight Lies 2 15*
This club has a great feel, great sound, and gets the ball up in the air. As long as you can square the clubface at impact the ball seems to fly miles. This club also delivers the distance for me to reach most par 5's in 2. Great club and is probably the best fairway wood on the market. Similar Products Used: Knight, Callaway, Orlimar, Macgregor |

2, 4, 7, 9
The best, period. The 2 and 4 perform as expected, but adding the 7 and 9 to my bag and leaving out the 3-4 irons really made a difference. These clubs are straight and easy to hit as long as you swing through the ball. You can find them on sale reasonably, and at the price I paid they're a great value. I predict that the golfer's of Y2K will all elect to chuck the long irons and play the short woods!! Customer Service Haven't used CS. I get a slight fade with these clubs. the distance is always the same 178 with the 7 and 235 with the 3. the only trouble i had with these were pop-up shoots. But then again thats why i shoot so high. Similar Products Used: None |

tight lies 2 strong 4
I loved the originals and I whacked my original strong 4 with my wedge when I wasn't paying attention on a practice swing when standing next to my bag- crushed the top of the club in. ANyway, went out and got the new TL 2 strong 4 to replace it. The new club is a nice improvement- I'm not sure if the spin control makes much difference since I hit both the original and the new club with a slight fade, but its just as easy to get up off the fairway with a deeper face which makes it more reliable from the tee or rough- no more pop-ups! Hits the ball with a lower trajectory and less backspin. As a result, I get more carry and roll. I hit the stong 4 well past the original strong 3. I've hit it as far as 230 yards off the fairway, which is great for me. Bottom line, the club is longer, better from the tee and rough and just as easy to get up in the air with all the forgiveness of the original. Club is built to hit the ball straight, though- I find it difficult to work the ball with it- Similar Products Used: original tight lies |

Tight Lies 2 Driver - graphite regular flex
I'm posting this here since there was no entry for TL2 Driver in the driver section. Anyway, this driver was supposed to cure my slice... it did a little, but I still sliced more than I wanted. To top it off, I hit the ball fat once, and the shaft broke! So I switch to my old crappy 3 wood and I hit straighter and much father now. Similar Products Used: Old steel driver |

3 wood, (13 Degree Strong)
This fairway wood made the worst club in my bag the best club. It really is straighter than any wood I've tried. As long as you don't overswing, it gives a guy like me in his fifties 235 - 250 yds. I've always been a big hitter and the Tight lies has anabled me to still be on the par 5 fairways. Got it used at Roger Dunn for 85 bucks. Best golf investment I've ever made, along with my Yonex ADX driver. Similar Products Used: None |

Adam TightLies 2 Smart 3 Wood
I have been playing golf for just about a year now. I bought the TightLies 2 Smart 3 Wood and am absolutely stunned at how amazing this club is! Off the tee, it is straight and long. Off the fairway, it is straight and long. In the rough, it cuts straight through the grass and is, you guessed it, straight and long. Similar Products Used: None |

When I try to increase distance by turning the knuckels in at impact, the toe digs in to the ground and the ball pops up like a lob wedge. I think it's the shape of the bottom large club face that's causing this because it doesn't happen with other clubs. Similar Products Used: None |

16* 3W
I liked this 3W when I could get a good hit with it. The shaft that I used was so flexy, that I had to swing ultra slow. Distance was very good though. Similar Products Used: Dunlop, Bertha |

16 degree, Stiff flex graphite
I needed a long hitting club that could be accurate off the fairway. Enter Adams, enter confidence. Quite a club in my humble opinion. I've never hit any club that gets the ball up in the air off ANY surface quite like this one. Ok, so I didn't pay a penny for this club (contest winner) but I've got to believe it would still be worth the money today. It's a bit strange to look at during setup at first, but over time this club felt like butter every time I pulled it out of the bag. I was also impressed with the AMOUNT of shots I could hit with it. High ones, long ones, fading shots, drawing shots, punch shots, you name it, I've hit it and it still performs. Only recently have I discovered how to hit a low trajectory shot with it, but it's got an unexpected result when it lands. The ball still has good spin on it. VERY impressive when hitting into greens, but more of a control club when you want to hit it off the tee. Great club, Adams!! Similar Products Used: None |
