The Origional Air Assault Woods are a great addition to any golfers bag. You can pick these up for as low as $60 now that the Tight Lies 2's are out. I can hit around 230 yds consistantly with this club, and have had no problems getting under it too much. If you want to improve the distance and accuracy of your fairway shots, get a Tight Lies...

A great line of clubs. They are not fancy, they don't make a pretty sound, but they get the ball where you want it. I have been playing a 2 wood for a few weeks and I am sold. I will be ordering a 5 and 7 wood this week. From a long fairway I was 220 yards out and landed it on the green, up hill. Anyone who has a problem hitting this club probably has a problem hitting anything. You can't miss with this club, but rememeber, it isn't fancy.

Need a forgiving fairway wood? Here's an easy stick to pick. Everything they says is true... forgiving - hit it anywhere on the club - swings easy > just like they say, it hits clean... no worries about it heading towards the pin...

I am a pretty crummy golfer; as such, this club forgives my tendancy to slice badly... it does pop up more than you want, depending on your lie. If you're a scratch golfer, I doubt you'd be interested, but for the duffer, it's a nice long fairway wood.

Love this club. Took out my 7 wood 22dg.
You make this wood go anywhere from 160-190. Very good feel from rough or fairway. A most for a 20 hcp who does not like 3-4-5 irons. Buy it!!

I am a low 80's, high 70's player with my current set of clubs, which i can happily say the tight lies is not part of. As soon as you put it to the ground the upside down head is the ultimate confidence destroyer. I am best with my woods, and my current trimetal is straight and long all the time. When i hit this the ball rarely broke 175 yards and it was all over the place. th club felt awkward and weak. I would tell any golfer to stay well away from these, which i personally consider the worst woods i have ever hit.

This is pretty much a no-nonsense fairway wood, so I'll cut to the chase here... Very solid, great weight, balance, and feel. For me, I find it performs best with a slightly decending swing, rather than a sweeping pass at the ball. Distance is average but the accuracy of this stick is its shining quality. Very straight, very consistent, very repeatable distances.

Overall, it's the complete package for the mid to high handicapper. Forgiving, good distance, higher ball flight, and some corrective assistance from the face curvature. Very nice club, especially at the $89 price at golfbargains.com for a refurb. It may be refurbished, but you'd never know it with mine, it arrived mint right out of the box.

They're very easy to hit for us higher handicapers, takes place of the 3&4 irons. Hit straight, consistent and a trajectory that holds greens. Problem are fluffy & above feet lies can cause pop-ups (also off tee if teed too high). Not very good in windy conditions as high trajectory tends to balloon.
