Wilson Deep Red 365cc Driver
All I can say about this club is WOW !! I'm not normally that long off thr tee, but I must tell you that this club is awesome! I went from hitting 220 yard drives with my old bertha to between 690 and 730 yards, all carry ( not meters, I'm not THAT long), relatively straight. I blow it over the par fives with ease now, and ususlly end up right in the middle of someone else's faiyway WAY behind my green! Getting there in two is as easy as pulling out my 9 iron or wedge for the 250 to 300 yards coming back. Par fours only require me to hit a smooth 5 or 6 iron for the 350 or 400 yard shot coming back. Only trouble is I hit a lot of other golfers with my ball because I can't see them from my tee most of the time. The only problem I've had with this club is that since my clubhead speed has been measured at 275 to 280 MPH, it had a tendency to fly out of the grip, leaving me on the tee with nothing but the grip in my hand and the rest of the club about 300 or so yards down the fairway. Not a major problem, because I was going to be walking down the fairway anyway. Just needed to carry a small bottle of quick-dry cement, and the club was as good as new (until the next tee). I'm sure there's nothing Wilson would be able to do about it, so I won't bother them with it. Someone told me I could be a great golfer with this driver, but I'll need to stop putting like I drive...690 to 730 yards. I strongly recommend this driver to anyone looking to hit the ball farther, but you will need to swing this club easier than you are used to in order to reap the full benefits. this club is gods gift to those like me who are allways looking for their balls in the rough. I was lent this club for the day and boy was I happy. I never have been good off the tee but the day I played with this stick I hit right down the middle and further than the 3 lads I was playing with, hole after hole after hole. They could not believe it and nor could I. I drove short par 4's and was giving my self the chance to hit par 5's in 2. I have never been one to believe the hype about drivers but this is all that it says it is, and much, much more. I have ordered a 10.5* and I'm counting the days off until it comes! I played with it again yesterday and it seemed even better. I don't even like par 3's now as I can't use the driver! Buy it and golf will seem a different game. If I could place more than 5 stars I would. Thank you Wilson. Customer Service n/a Similar Products Used: every thing I could lay my hands on |

Wilson Deep Red 9* Stiff
This club has re-defined my game. I am relatively new to the game, having taken up the challenge 24 months ago. Originally starting with the Wilson Killer Whale driver, my move to Deep red came about after 3 months of lessons from the course Pro. He measured my swing speed (94-120mph) and my lie angles, and then gave me a selection of drivers to try. The thing that struck me about the Deep Red above all else was the weightlessness. It was so light compared to all the other models I tried that day. This resulted in my swings being faster and more controlled, and the distance was amazing. Up to tyhat point, the furthest I had hit was 230m. With the deep red I hit 250-260 without effort! I tried a few fades and draws and found the club consistant and responsive. I play at a fairly hilly course with tall Alpine conifers lining the course. With the Deep Red, I go for the gorrilla shots, cutting corners at will, and enjoying the looks from my golfing pals. For those golfers in their high 90's, THIS IS A MUST! I have also purchased the DR Irons too, and now I have hit the mid 80's consistantly. Bought this beast on ebay & since there is snow on this part of the world, I took it to a dome to try it out. I was very pleasantly surprised of the consistent forgiveness & ball flight with a proper, easy swing. Hard to read distance in a dome, but the trajectory looked perfect. However, the clubhead came loose off the shaft after only 50 swings. I made arrangements with ebay seller, & received a replacement two days later! This one seems to be straight & long as well. How about that... I've heard about paint chipping as well, but if you need help off the tee. Snap one up. Price value is very nice as well. Customer Service First driver received was defective (see above) ebay seller sent replacement stat. Now I can Tee off with the driver wich I 've not done so because 90% of the shots will gave me nothing but sight seeing tour or visiting my neibour fairways. I was amaze how easy and simple to hit with a great distance... love it and honestly love it. My friend has named me Fat Shaft because this club is magic. Thanks to My guru SS for his reserched through the golf review and came up with this club, which I finally selected, it's a great club. My guru friend went out and bough himself a Deep Red fairway wood today after our game because he was impressed with the performance. Thanks "Wilson Deep Red Fat Shaft". Wilson Deep Red Driver and Woods
I purchased the 365cc Stiff 9 Degree Deep Red Driver just over a year ago when I was a 25 handicap golfer and have been working very hard on my game. Now I shoot in the mid to high 80s. I think that this club is one of the secrets to my sucess at lowering my handicap. It is extremely forgiving on mis-hits without the loss of distance or accuracy. The flight pattern is relatively high for the 9 degree loft but it has a beautiful ascending parabolic shape. The Fat Shaft in stiff is a bit more flexible compared to other shafts and would probably rate a Firm rather than a true stiff shaft. However, the kick point is supposed to be higher so it is supposed to feel a bit more stiff. I emailed Wilson and they say that the stiff flex is for swing speeds up to 100mph. Above that at about 105, they recommend a Tour shaft. You can work the ball but it is a bit more difficult compared to other drivers such as the Titlest 975J. This Deep Red driver likes to keep the ball relatively straight. However, you can still slice or snap hook the ball if your swing is not consisted. My club heads swing speed has really increased over the past year from about 92mph to about 105mph currently. This driver has really kept up with it. My average drives go about 230 to 270 yards. About 1 month ago the shaft started to separate from the head of the club at the hosel. I called and emailed Wilson. They responded within one day and gave me a mailing address for repairs. I asked that if they were going to put a new shaft on the club, that they replace it with a X stiff Tour Shaft. Three weeks later, I now have the same club head with a Tour shaft. For me, the accuracy is even better and the forgiveness is the same. However, Now the carry distance is less but the total distances are the same because the trajectory has dropped. Customer Service Will answer back within 2 days of a call or email. However, it takes about 3 weeks for them to either repair or send you new equipment. May get faster service if you ship the clubs back through the purchasing golf store. Similar Products Used: I admit that I am sort of a golf equipment junkie and am always testing out the latest equipment. However ever since I purchased this driver I have NOT found a better more consistent one. The Nike, Pi |

Deep Red 10.5* 305CC Stiff
These are a hidden treasure as the fairway woods are just as good. I have the 3&5 and my wife hits the Lady 5 & 9 woods better than Callaways. Back to the Driver...hits consistent and has surprisingly good length. I've kept up with some guys hitting the 975J-VS who normally outhit me. Key for me...ball flight seems lower so I traded the 9* for a 10.5* and find it perfect. So, don't be afraid to try a 1* higher loft than other clubs in the 305CC (I hit 9.5* in most others). I don't know if the 365CC or 425C naturally hit it higher like the TM series where the 300 or 510 goes the lowest. The Prolite .480 Stiff flex felt good for my 105 swing and had low torque for straight drives. Customer Service N/A Similar Products Used: TM320 & 360, Launcher 400, Orlimar 315 & 425 |
