This driver delivers a penetrating ball flight which allows you to play more loft for control. Plenty of roll depending on tee height and fairway coditions. The V2 shaft keeps the dispersion tight and will not let the ball balloon. Might be the best shaft on the market right now. It's a typical Titleist driver in terms of feel. You hit it solid and you feel nothing and the ball trampolines off the face. I hit em' all, 975D,983K,905T,and the 975J. Mis-hits go very straight compared to other drivers. Heel shots turn into a small cut and toe shots a baby draw. I love the weight, feel and setup. Sets up square. You don't have to be a single digit handicap to enjoy this club. The sweet spot is big, mis-hits don't lose much distance and they still find the fairway. One of the best features is the shallow face. Every driver today has a deep face which requires you to tee it high to hit the sweet spot which is high on the face. The 905R can be teed low for control or you can tee it high and bomb it. Either way you will hit the sweet spot consistently. It reminds me of a bigger version of the 983K but not as draw biased. I consider the 983K one of the best drivers ever made with the correct shaft installed. Try this driver before you buy anything... Very nice driver, forgiving enough and lots of distance. The ball seems to jump of the clubface like a trampoline. Just swing nice and smooth and you will get the best results with it, great buy! Customer Service Haven't used. Similar Products Used: - |

I recently stepped up to the 905R from the 905T and have to say it was a good decision! This is one great driver! The combination of the Graphite Design YS-6+ shaft and the 460 cc head is an awesome pairing! When struck well the ball just sails off the face with a low penetrating trajectory that keeps rolling down the fairway once the ball hits the ground!

I have been using the 983K for a few years, and I could not wait to get my hands on the later and greater. I have now played 5 rounds with this club and I am going back to the 983K. Why? Both clubs have the Fujikura Speeder shaft, but the 983 just feels more solid to me. In addition, i feel like I can work the ball MUCH better with the 983 than the 905. In addition, I feel like the weighting of the 983 inspires confidence, and the 905 feels more "hollow" than solid in my hands. When I get a hold of it, maybe I get a few extra yards from the 905, but that is mostly do the the lower ball flight than the 983. Just my humble opinion. Customer Service None |

Decided to step up to the 4600cc clubhead and have used the 983E the past two years, so was inclined to go with Titleist again. But I tried several other clubs before buying the 905R, including the Ping G5 and the Nike Sasquatch. I just like the feel of the Titleist, perhaps because I'm used to it.

This driver is simply amazing. It may be about 10 yards shorter then some of the other big brand names, but this is a driver you can depend on. It is very accurate, and you can work the ball easily. With its square address and classic pear shape, it provides confidence when you step up to the ball. I reccomend that you find a shaft that fits your swing. "Fairways and greens" they say. Well with this driver, You will definitley have more success with the first part of that saying. A+ driver Similar Products Used: Ping G5, TM 460, Cleveland HIbore
