this driver is great. Very workable and shaft choices r awesome too. be careful when chosing shaft as it makes a lot of difference. my advice is to go on a launch monitor b4 deciding. i currently play off 5 and am averaging about 280 with the 905. |

I have a 9.5* 905R with a graffalloy prolite stiff flex shaft. The driver is straight and fairly long, but not garganchuinly long. I love it though, the 460cc is the way to go. Easy to hit, hard to miss it in a bag, and the weight feels good to me. i had a 905R 105* regular flex, and the stiff flex made a huge difference in accuracy. Customer Service bought from a teaching pro (Petey), then sold my other driver to this guy to get the money to pay Petey. Similar Products Used: Titleist 905R 10.5* aldiva NV65 regular flex

Yes - I too thought the comment "once you have played Titleist you will always come back" - was abit of sales hype.
Customer Service havent had to use it Similar Products Used: Cleveland Hi-Bore (the most over rated and over hyped driver for quite some time)

This driver is by far the longest driver I have tested. Much, much better feel than the r7 425 which feels like a soup can, better control but not quite as good feel as the cleveland hibore but overall much, much longer.
Customer Service Haven't had to deal with them but had a good reputation Similar Products Used: r7 425 tp, 983k/e, g2, cleveland hi-bore, 905t/s, cobra 414 comp (beast), r540 XD |

This driver has it all! Top drawer in distance, one of the most accurate, workable, nice loud explosive sound. Try it before you buy anything else. Be sure to get fitted for the right shaft and loft configuration. It is also fairly forgiving - not as much as some of the others but still decent. Nice solid feel at impact. Customer Service Fast service. Similar Products Used: About everything out there. Golf junkie I am. |

Before, I give my review, I highly recommend anyone looking for a new driver to get fitted on a launch monitor. No matter what you buy, there is a shaft and loft that is right for you. I noticed a variations of 20 yards betweend different heads, shafts and lofts.

This is a follow up from my first review of the 905r. The 905r is very good; infact very good club and it's emabarassing for those that are incapable of of hitting this thing. I am sickened by your incapalbility.
Customer Service who knows - likley very good - who needs them. |

Well it held up once again. Once you go Titleist, you will always come back. I bought mine on Ebay with the V2 stiff 76g shaft for $265.00. It took me a bucket to get used to the whole setup and started hitting the ball very solid. I was previously using the Cleveland Launcher 460 w/a Proforce Tour Reserve 75g shaft, which is now for sale because the titleist blows it away. The feel of the club is completely different then any of the "trampoline effect" driver heads. I noticed with the V2 shaft that when I chased after it hard, the ball would baloon and fade too much. So I bought a Harrison Pro 80g 1.8torque Tour shaft(cost $70.00), had it spined, and had golfsmith install it. ithttp://harrisongolf.com/18_series.htm . Just hit it today for the first time, and what a difference & well worth the extra money. My swing speed is 105-115. Can't stress enough to get fitted for the right shaft. I have had great results with Harrison's products, but a different model may be the one for you. I hit this driver about 280 consistantly, but I can take it to 300 when needed. Overall, this club provides such a solid powerful feel, and it is nice to have a more forgiving product from Titleist now. I can't wait to play in the afternoon and stick it to the course. I also bought the 904 15* 3wood with a Aldila NV 75g stiff shaft, and love that club also. First hit was for fun from 280 on a par 5, and ended up putting it in the middle of the green. Normal hit is about 265 with it. Customer Service Haven't used it yet. Note: Golfsmith did a great job on the re-shaft. I recently demoed and purchased the 905R with aldila 350 stiff shaft. This is one of the best feeling drivers I have ever hit. I was fit for this driver at Golf Galaxy, and they were very helpful in the selection process.
