I have now played 5 rounds with this driver and my search is over. I have gone through 4 drivers this year and found a driver that does not feel like mush. I have had a slight fade before, but this driver has been straight. For the first time I can work the ball when I want to. And my drives are 30 yards more than any other driver. Great feel, and the ball does not go as high as the other bigger heads I have tried. One more reason I like this driver is the head size is under 400cc. 983K 9.5 Prolite stiff
had been playing 8.5 yardage was not what I thought it should be. everyone stated increase loft. got 9.5 with prolite stiff shaft combo. for me nothing else on the face of this earth can beat this. played first round yesterday and yardage, ball flight, the ability to work the ball both ways is unbeatable. want bore you with how far I was hitting this driver will say that I was the last one everytime to hit second shot. sure does feel good hitting wedges into the greens. when everyone else is hitting 6-9 irons. TITLEIST thank you!!!! |

Nice club. New to golf, couldn't resist the big name. Swing speed around 90. I average 190-220. I have hit a few out there even further. Personal best of about 280 carry and a good roll on the course. Try this club in combination with the Nike Super Far ball! I know the stigma that surrounds Nike equipment, but that ball works! Titleist 983K
I’ve had my 983K 9.5 w/ a Fujikura Titleist stock shaft for about 5 months. This is the best driver I’ve hit in my life. I still play on occasion a 975J driver which I might say is also a great club, but the 983K when hit solid is just plenty long and consistent. This driver cuts through the wind and I mean cut. Now, I don’t even worry about wind conditions from the Tee, especially when I’m against it. My average drives with the K is 270 yards. I’ve had 300 or so yard drives more than I can remember. I had to get used to the size of the head since my J had a slightly smaller head. Other than that, this club is solid. The sound that it makes on solid shots is great. No tin can sounds here, just a nice crack!@ As for as the Fujikura shaft, I’m impressed. The feel at impact feels so strong that club head hits the ball without a lot of vibration. Just a good all around solid shaft. This is going to be the “BIG DOG” for a while in my bag. I practice my long irons at the range, since a rarely need them during a round except for long par 3s. Titelist 983K 10.5
Had been using 3 wood off tee due to lack of control of old Steelhead Plus Driver. Decided to test several new Drivers including Cleveland Launcher, Titelist 983K, Callaway ERC, Taylor Made and several others. Decision was down to Titelist 983K and Cleveland Launcher. Launcher was more forgiving but was not great on true shot. Titelist was exceptional. Have played several rounds and playing partners have been amazed at distance and accuracy. Going to Myrtle Beach in two weeks and will update after trip. |

Titleist 983K driver
Have hit a stiff shaft Callaway VFT for 4 or 5 yeaars and like it very much, but felt the shaft was getting a bit much for my age. Tried the 983K with the stock shaft (4560) and needed to go no farther. The club is more forgiving and when I make myself take the time to wait for it to work, the distance is greater than the VFT by 10 yards or so. I also feel it is more forgiving when I miss the sweet spot, which is getting more frequent. Try it out before buying anything else. Think you will agree Customer Service NA |

First, this is a great driver but you do need to have a decent swing to benefit from the 983k. My previous driver was a steelhead plus which I consistently hit about 230-240. The 983k has given me 20 yards of added length. The feel at impact is solid. I replaced the stock shaft with a dynalite steel reg. flex and I am hitting more fairways than ever. I highly recommend this driver to anyone looking for added length. Customer Service N/A Similar Products Used: None |

Just bought this baby with a Aldila NV stiff shaft 65 gram. I've had it for a few days and do like it alot. I've had a Cobra SZ 380 for a year or two and really liked it too, but i think i needed a new shaft. Anyway, this titleist is a bad ass stick, i've been on the driving range mainly using the range balls its hard to tell what i'd be driving with a pro v, but i'm driving it past the 250 yard marker at our range. i like the 65 gram shaft too, it feels more stable to me. i may change the stock grip though. other than that its a driver that i think i'll be stickin with. oh and for a large head, it seems like it is somewhat workable. Titleist 983K 9.5 Prolite Stiff
I finally went to a facility that had a state of the art launch, ball speed, spin monitor. I tried three different drivers with different shaft/loft combinations (983K, TM R580, Launcher 460). After all of the testing, I went with the 9.5 degree 983K Prolite stiff shaft. For my swing speed of 108 this combination gave me the best launch and spin. Although this club may not be the most forgiving or have the larger head size as other clubs, it has a very, very solid feel. I have wasted a lot of time and money trying to find a driver, shaft, and loft that best fits my swing. With the launch monitor results and my new 983K, I don't have any doubts if there is a better driver out there for me. Customer Service Very good.
