Titleist 975L-FE Drivers

Titleist 975L-FE Drivers

DESCRIPTION

A tour-proven 350cc driver that is 12% larger than the 975J but features the same great profile. The head size and weight distribution enhance players who prefer a straight to fading ball flight.

I purchased a Ping TISI and loved it till i broke the shaft of it. I was just looking for a replacement driver and purchased the 975 L-FE and i love it soo much i still havent got my Ping reshafted. I have easily gained 50 yards on my tee shots. I can hit it any where i want it. High, Low, Power draw, Power fade, u name it. I am now hitting the ball about 280 carry and it really has lowered my score.

I have the 9.5 Grafalloy stiff shaft version of this superb driver. My previous best drive was 265yds. It is now 320yds. I am hitting over 280 regularly. I am amazed at the high trajectory and long rolls on landing that this driver consistently produces. Absolutely confidence inspiring on the tee. The best club ever!

This driver is awesome, wanna hit power fades bam its there wanna hit power draws boom its there. I play 10.5 degree that is the secret I hit it long and straight, there is no fade enhancing here just neutral weighted square faced club. The huge head size make it a lot more forgiving the the 975J and 975JVS. The Graphite design shaft is sweet and responsive. I am not afraid of trouble in the left anymore. Just tee it up let it fly. Highly underrated club, but then majority of golfers slice so they fear FE, its not trust me, Try one get 'em now cheap!

Great driver. My swing has ups and downs. Therefore I know what the driver can do with good and bad hits. Good shots are long. Bad ones are not too short and often on line. Forgot your swing at work? Take a mulligan! What I like most about the driver? The shape of the club head, the balanced feeling while addressing the ball and the long shots. (Personal best: 300 yards with backwind and dry surface)

WOW! What a club. By far the straightest and favourite club in the bag. I hit it dead straight everytime and when i go for it a little fade. I carry it about 250 on average. I should have opted for the 8.5 degree because I hit it real high...but thats not a big issue if your hitting it well. Can't complain with the YS-6 shaft either, it's a beauty. The club sounds kind of dead but I've grown to like it since it's not as ear piercing.

This is one great driver... Driving used to be my weakness... This club provides me with a lot confidence at set up... I have to say that driving is currently one of my strenghts... Prior to this I was swinging a Callaway ERC II 10* which provided me with no consistency... I was hitting fades, hooks, draws with an average distance of 250... With the 975 LFE I can consistently hit a low screaming draw flying it about 230-250 but the best part is the 10-40 yards of roll... I am consistenly hitting the ball 260-280 and I am hitting the most fairways in my six years of playing... Long fade enhancer? I have yet to see that... I am hitting fades only when I intend to and the ball flight is still low and lots of roll... The only thing that took time getting used to was the sound of the club... This doesn't make the "ping" sound but more like a thud... I have grown to enjoy that sound... Needless to say that I recommend it... you can pick up one of these bad boys at e-bay very cheap...

My weakest part of the game was consistency on driving the ball. I wasn't able to consistently drive the ball on long par 4s or even par 5. Now with this 975LFE. I gives me a long and straight ball flight. The feel is kind of muted compared to my old Ping i3 Steel. But as long as I can keep it long and straight I will keep it. For the new lower price this is a good driver. I'm pretty sure that the 983 is better but is it worth the extra $250?? Will give a 5 to overall if the feel was better.

I will tell everyone out there right now...IF YOU HAVE AN OLD DRIVER SAY 3 YEARS OR OLDER...GET A NEW DRIVER!!! I went from 210 yards with Taylor Made burner to 260 with LF-E!! Did I mention that I'm still in winter mode!!! AWESOME DRIVER, GREAT DISTANCE & POOR SHOTS STILL TRAVEL 30 YARDS FARTHER THAN OLD DRIVER!

Fade enhancer are you kidding me. I have hit a slight fade since I started playing golf but with this club I hit it straight, to a slight, slight fade and looooong. This club is the best deal out there you can find 'em for less than $180 brand new. I was able to trade in my old 975D (sorry old boy) and another driver for the L-FE of my choice, I ended up with an 9.5 with the 4565 graffaloy stiff. I have always played graffaloy shafts and this one feels just like the old prolite but with 3.3* of torque. I let the pro at the golf course that I work at hit it the other day and it was draw after draw after draw. Very easy club to work the ball, though not as easy as the 975D. I have played the D for 2+ yrs now and have been very happy. But the amount of back spin that the D puts on the ball makes it tuff to hit in to the wind. Plus the sweet spot on the L-FE is huge and hot, adding 20-30 yrds over the D. The feel I get from the L-FE is a little mushey but the ball flight is perfect. My best advice is to go out and try it out for yourself. This one is staying in my bag for a long time.

What a great driver!!! And for the price unbeatable!!! Go for it instead of an 983. After a long journey´, I have found a forgiving, long and good looking driver that fits my swing.
