brilliant driver. got it for 40 bucks off ebay. distance wise, it can't keep up with today's new big heads but with the right swing you can still go long. at first i had a ei70 s flex in it. shaft didn't fit my swing, felt too stiff and didn't feel like i was getting enough distance. put in a ys-5 r flex, and it solved it. club felt very nice and the ball went to a perfect trajectory. in terms of workability, its very easy to shape shots, but then again the only shot i wanna use on a driver is a straight one. easy to find on ebay, make sure to find the right shaft for your swing as well.

Wonderfull golfclub. Great distance, easy to work and also looks great. I haven't met a better driver yet. I bought mine for 67.5 euro on internet and can say without a shadow of a doubt it has been my best money spend in terms of golf It's a living legend.

bought this club years ago wit EI-70 shaft and loved it from the very first strike, however i bought all the hype about new drivers being 30 yards longer and more forgiving, in fact i bought into the hype twice, what a mistake!!2 Callaways later and im back with old faithful. it must be said that it is a little outdated now and maybe isnt as long as the most recent models but it definitely still performs. the only drivers that i can hit noticeably further are the new nike ignite and 983. however i dont feel the need to spend €300 to gain a maximum of 10 yards. you can pick one of these up for the price of a dozen balls, trust me you wont regret it. this is still a quality club and you can easily touch the 300 mark with her. i've learned my lesson and think i will stay with it for a while, no matter what callaway promise me

This club is amazing any way you look at it. Early in the season I decided to get a new driver and after endlessly debating over pricey clubs from Callaway and Taylor Made a buy-and-sell add for a titleist 975D 8.5 degree driver with EI-70 shaft came to my attention. Best driver I have ever hit bar none. With the 8.5 degree and stiff shaft I instantly gained yards on the Great Big Bertha II I had been playing. In the winter you can hit with the best of them and in the summer you can roll it right past them. Once I got the driver honed I averaged about 290 yards and for the first time ever I began to hit shots with ease over 300 yards. If you have a fast smooth, swing this club was made for you. Check your local buy-and sell for deals because I ended up getting mine almost mint save 3 scratched(I counted) for $175 Canadian. Don't wait!

I tried many drivers in my price limit including PING, Callaway, Adams, and Titleist, and the 975D was the best. I consistantly hit it straight and far.

Great driver! It is much easier to work the ball with this driver than with the deeper faced drivers that are popular today. The 975D has a penetrating ball flight and a lower trajectory. If you are going to buy this driver, be prepared to sacrifice a little distance (maybe 10-15 yards) if you have previously used a deeper faced driver due to a lower C.O.R.

Customer Service

Never used it. By the way, if you buy this club new, get the Graffaloy shaft and not the standard Titleist shaft.

I tested this slightly used driver using an indoor simulator this past April. I hit every drive just about perfectly straight down the middle and long. I had to buy it. This is the BEST driver I have ever used. It is very consistent in feel and response. It may not be as long as the newer C.O.R. Effect drivers but, it is long enough when the majority of your drives are in play! I average about 290 with ease. Give 'er all you got.... I get between 320 to 350 out of this wonderful club. I like the lower trajectory because it's easier to control. This is a player's club. ENJOY!!

I bought a 975D 8.5 loft w/a X100 steel shaft. I'm a new golfer who has a high swing speed in the mid teens on this setup. Heavy feel, but allows very good control. Ball can still balloon on me sometimes, but trajectory overall is better which allows me to get a roll. No more 270-280 ball flights with a 3 foot roll.

I am a 9 handicap golfer and over the years I have played everything from Ping to Callaway. The best caracteristics of this driver are that it is very forgiving, and it produces a penetrating ball flight. I also purchased the 975f fairway wood to compliment this driver. Both will be kept in my bag for years to come.
