This club is incredible. I have 9.5 degrees and the thing cuts through wind like butter. Those who think the club doesn''t perform probably got the wrong shaft. I tried 5 different kind before I found the right one. I gained atleast 15 yards and I''m more accurate. Now half my high school team plays with one!

Awesome club, switched to this last summer and replaced my biggest big bertha. Gained about 10 yards, and most of that is due to the fact that it allows you to work the ball. For all of you who are wondering why you cant put one of those slight draws on the ball to enhance roll and therefore distance, its because many drivers are too clunky and arent easy to move left-right, or right-left. Put a UST 65 shaft on it and i found more fairways and more par 5''s in 2 than ever before. Bought the 975J late last year, and have tried it early this year..I didnt notice any real difference in distance, i guess the mis-hits might be a little bit better, but i found it much more difficult to work the J, hard to draw without snap hooking it, sending a duck out of bounds. I sold my J, using my old faithfull D now. If you have a J, and arent satisfied with it, you might wanna consider going to the D.

Bought 975D w/S300 shaft. Best driver ever! Trajectory is perfect,it looks good, it feels good, it sounds good. I average about 270 with about an extra 20 because of the roll.

7.5 degree. i hit a high ball so i thought that this would help me with the low ball flight i need. I help 100 % and i get more distance and beter control than my taylor made bubble 2, 8.5 degree. average yards with it about 275. though i could use a extra stiff shaft for the club.

Just purchased the 975d. Recommended by a friend. The best thing to happen was Titleist coming up with the J model which drove the price of the D model down. Can''t believe the pros are playing the J, too big. Used to play the Invex which really, and now I know for sure, contributed to my lack of distance. Was driving it about 210 avg. and about 230 if I really got a hold of it. With the 975D I am consistently driving the ball about 240 and up to 260. Great Grafalloy shaft. Keep in mind this is in the winter about 0 to 10 degrees celsius. The ball flight is definitely much more penetrating and I can actually feel where I have made contact. Can''t wait for the golf season to begin. I recommend you go out and get one while they are still available. A steal for a great driver.

Riverside had the best price but they are all about the commission. Bought a couple of items from them and after the purchase they were on to

I was using the Callaway Steelhead, when my neighbor came up to me with the 975D (8.5), and he said I could have it since he bought the TM 360 and he couldn''t hit it (mostly because hes crap). I took it (obviously) and found that the true temper steel shaft on it was to short and inconsistant. I reshafted it with the UST Proforce 65 Stiff, and it has made the difference in my game. Im 15, and i have a 10 handicap, and im trying to break 80 consistantly, and this club helps. . .A LOT. My average drive is about 260-265 yards, and i hit about 8-11/14 fairways. It is a really great club. I used to have a huge slice, but now i have a nice low perfectly straight trajectory (when i hit it good, which is usually). So, I really have to thank my neighbor for giving me the best driver out there. And i hope that this summer, it will help me break 80 consistantly. If you play golf at ANY level, TRY THIS CLUB!!

Up until 3 months ago i was using a 9.5 degree 975D (with proforce 75 stiff) consitently for 3 years, and it was a great club. Like many others I was taken in by the hype of the new 975J, and traded in the 975D, what mistake!! I''m not saying the 975J is a bad club in fact it is longer, when you hit it well. For me the 975J is a lighter club for people looking for distance, whereas the 975D is a heavy club based on good distance and great accuracy. Now that the 975D is superseded I was able to get an 8.5 for considerably less. This has a grafalloy (stiff)shaft which is superb. My confidence off the tees has come back and the game is again enjoyable. I won''t make the same mistake again, as the 975D is arguably the best driver ever made.

i bought this driver about a year ago its a 9deg ,it originally came with the ei70 shaft i had trouble with my control so i put in a dynamic gold steel shaft in it im still inconsistant,my ball flight is left to right ,i think this club is more for a draw flight pattern.this driver is for a lower handicapper it is good to work the ball, but very inconsistant, ive been working on my swing alot im down to a9 handicap but i think its my driving thats holding me back, iseem to be hitting out of the rough alot only hitting about 7 fairways a round.im going to try a new driver cleveland launcher ,tm360 or ive heard good things about the touredge320j i heard it was longer than the ERC

I shoot in the High 70''s, low 80''s. I have a high swing speed. I have been playing for many years and consider myself a good ball striker. I switched from a Taylor Made Ti Bubble II. I am much more consistent with the Titelist than I was with the Bubble. I am longer with it as well. The ball does penetrate better with the 975D. It is a much heavier club than the new Taylor Made series (300, 320, 360) but I find that I get more distance (280-300 consistently)out of the Titlelist. I have never miss hit the Taylor Made 320 (friends)but I always hit further with the 975D. The shaft is extremly important. More so than the head. I love graffalloy. UST 75 is also a great low torque, low trajectory shaft. Consult your pro. Best legal driver I have ever had.
