None I''m 57 and have played for almost 50 yrs. Have always been a traditionalist, having just given up blades last year. This is the first titanium driver I have purchased. Am amazed at the distance I have regained(lost due to age;most likely, and workability of club(both low and high draws and fades). This club helps make me dangerous again...great for the ego. None This club is great. I use it with an S300 dynamic gold steel shaft and it is an excellent driver. I get a nice penetrating ball flight that has the look of never coming down. It''s as though the ball gains distance and trajectory height as it goes; I like dull ball flights. I would reccomend this club to anyone who is a good ball striker. It is less forgiving and does need to be hit on the screws per say. Overall, a nice piece of titanium. Customer Service great service Similar Products Used: 975J, Hawkeye, etc. |

None First off whoever said they couldn''t hit this driver must think that the club does everything. You do have to have a legitiment swing with this driver but otherwise it is extremely forgiving and easy to work. It has added about 5-10 yards to my driver. Then with the new titleist nxt which has added another 5 i''m driving the ball at times 15 yards longer. Every one has to atleast try out these new nxts. But i forgot i''m writing about the driver. I am about to switch shafts because i''m not a fan of stock shafts . i recently have demoed the driver with a 75 golf ust and it was a feeling i can''t even describe. so i will be writing again to tell of the new shaft and the additions made. overall this is a great driver would not recommend to anyone who does not have a consistent swing because as the titleist name goes serious clubs for serious golfers nowhere in that does it say hacks can hit this. well keep in the short grass. don''t beleive all the hype about the new j series it is a great driver but not 200 dollars more great you can find some d''s on ebay brand new for almost 200 dollars. None The finest driver I''ve ever played. Since using it my game has come on big time - my last 3 rounds have been E, -1, E. My driving average is about 260 and I can belt them further if I want. This ofcourse brings in a bit of pot luck if I thrash at it so I keep a smooth swing and usually find the fairway. I can shape it both ways and I feel comfortable on the tee which is a good thing. I honestly feel it won''t be long before I win my first major. I missed out at final qualifying for the open at lytham by 1 stroke....next year I aim to win the title off of Duval. I am probably the best golfer worldwide right now and I can''t see me dropping a shot ever again. Your probably thinking I''m mad right now but you should me play - I''m f/ucking fantastic. Bye. Customer Service Ace! I sent them a sob story email saying I was a poor student who couldn''t afford new golf balls so Titleist blasted a load of ProV1''s up to my lunar base on the moon - FREE OF CHARGE! Nice guys. None I love the look of this driver. But when you hit it just doesn''t seem to me to live up to the hype. I have a supersteel 3 wood that I can hit just as far. I am getting a Supersteel driver tommorrow and trying it. I like the Titleist but jsut doesn''t perform for me. Similar Products Used: Taylormade 320, Mizuno pro 300, Ping |

None I''m a good 4 handicap at the moment and usually drove the ball about 275-290 yds. with my old Taylor Made Titanium 1 (s-90 bubble shaft and 9.5 loft). I was driving it pretty consistent with a slight draw, but when I missed it I missed it bad left(enormous hook). I switched to 975D about 2 months ago and been just happy I did so. Now I''m able to control the ball much easier, and usually playing a slight fade carrying about 265-280 plus roll totalling 280-295. Not that much added distance compared to my old TM Titanium, but I feel more confident with my Titleist (stiffer shaft part of the reason). But Titleist is ''no question about it'' longer on dead center hits, I hit it just the other day maybe 330 on a slight uphill par5 hole (light downwind), needed only a 7 iron for my second shot (par5 512 yds. uphill). Summary: Titleis 975D is propably one of the best drivers out there, TM 300 series and Callaway are good also but 975D especially on good player''s hands is better because of it''s workability. Not the longest but my choice!! Similar Products Used: Used to play Taylor Made Titanium, tested almost every driver. |

None I''m a high 80''s golfer that''s been looking for a driver to match my swing speed. At 93 mph, a golf tech suggested the 975D of the 975J. I tested both and found that the D matches my swing perfectly. The day I bought it, I went to the driving range and boosted my 250 yard drives up to 300 yds. plus. I''m very satisfied with the driver. Similar Products Used: None |

None This club is as close to persimmon as titanium will ever get, plus it is far more forgiving. I have the 9.5 which came with the standard select shaft. This shaft was too whippy to be stiff, so it was reshafted with a proforce 75 stiff. What a difference!! This is the most consistent and accurate club I have ever owned. I even prefer it to the 3 wood. It is however slightly shorter off the tee, but distance isn''t everything, especially if in trouble. Please also note that the proforce is stiffer in the 975D because of the bore thru hosel. Best players club on the market. I demoed every driver on the market currently, this was by far the most UNFORGIVING. Im a good player who is a 7 handicap and the only reason im not lower cause i take 35 putts a round, i hit my ping 260-270 and 10 fairways on average, i tried the titleist for a few rounds, when u do hit it perfect it is good, 10 yards past the ping but i only hit it good 3 or 4 out of 10. stick with ping tisi or taylor made 300 series Similar Products Used: None |
