I purchased a pre-loved 907D1 (half price) from a golf retail store to replace my Powerbilt Genesis driver. The Genesis had a medium regular flex which was too whippy for me. The 907D1 is a 9.5 degree with a regular Graphite Design YS-6+ shaft. I have played with it twice and hit 7 fairways both times (an improvement of 2 over my average). At the practice ground I found that I was not hitting it further but most were straight or had a gentle fade. No 50 metre improvement but I am very very happy with the accuracy this club provides me. Feel very confident on the tee. A lovely loud metallic crack when you get the sweet spot. Now to work on the distance. Customer Service Not yet required. Titleist D1 Driver
Bought my very 1st Titleist driver at the recommendation of a Roger Dunn sales staff. Up till this point I have been strictly Taylor Made with last driver a R7-460. Told the sales guy that I did not like the new Taylor Made light stock shaft choices and that distance has never been my problem. I wanted more accuracy and consistency and he recommended the D1 even though he plays all Cleveland clubs. Got a 10.5 degree, with a YS-6 stiff shaft.

This is a very different driver from anything else I have ever hit. It is very forgiving to the point that it is almost hard to miss the fairway. It's shape is definately different, but I got used to it after hitting about 10 balls. It is very hard to hook, and just wants to go straight. If anything it fades more than draws, although I can still hit small draws. Distance varies, when hit perfectly it goes very far, but off center hits aren't as long as others I have tried. However, I must say I have never ever hit a driver as straight as this club. I will definately take a little less distance for much more accuracy. I have the Aldila VS "By You" shaft and I like it a lot. This driver is slightly more shallow than some others which might be why is has a higher MOI. It has changed the way I play my course. I hit 4 more drivers Saturday that I usually ever do. I am so confident with this club it is scary. I think it truly is different than anything else I have tried. If you are looking for a club to help with hooks/draws and want to hit more fairways, give it a shot. I don't think it will be as good for a slicer. Just my opinion. Two thumbs up!!! THis driver is by far the best driver that i have ever hit. The feel is pure on all shots, even off-center. I had the Taylormade r7 quad and this golf club makes that one look like it is terrible. previous to the buying of this driver, my average drive was about 240 yards, now that is a bad one. I can hit the ball on average 290 yards and occasionally crack 300 or 310.the longest ball i have ever hit with it went 355 yards. I don't know why everybody doesn't hve one of these. |

This driver is a farly good driver but if u have good swing speed i would not buy this driver. I found that i had alot of problems with pulls with the D1 just becuase the head is so light and then combined with the Proto makes it to be very light for me. Then when try to put a 80gram Fujarkai on it, it was really bad ballanced so ended up selling it. Customer Service Ebay great deal bought it for 270 Similar Products Used: Taylormade R7-Ping G5-Tiliest D1-Ping Raptor(also very light)-Taylmade Burner(old and new one)-Nike sumo tour-Callaway FT5(good driver) |

I have to say, my resistance to oddly shaped drivers was unfounded. Prior to owning the 907 D1, I have been a big fan and owner of previous "traditional" Titleist models including: 975 D & JVS, 973 k, and lastly, the 905 R. I have always been a fan of Titleist drivers due to the squared faces at address. I already have a problem "pulling" the ball, I don't need a driver that will only exacerbate that problem.
Customer Service Fitting Works crew was top notch. As far as post-fitting, I have not had an opportunity to use them yet. Similar Products Used: Titleist 975 D & JVS, 973 k, 905 R. Also briefly owned a Taylor Made Quad...briefly. |

Not bad driver. It is hard to get used to because of the triangular shape, mostly goes to the right but now and again it goes straight and when it goes straight it carrys far but i like the taylormade r7 425 better so i'm going back to that. Very nice looking club, but it takes a little getting used to with the triangular shape. Not as forgiving as many reviewers described it. I played the 905R and actually found that I hit that further and a lot of times straighter than the 907. I found the club on ebay and got a great price for it so I couldn't pass it up. My suggestion to anyone is to demo the club first on the course before buying Customer Service never had to use it Similar Products Used: Taylormade R7 425/Titleist 905R |

907D1 10.5 Spec Grid 67 Reg
This is one very good driver. It is made to hit the ball long and straight, something most of here are looking for. It is very hard to work the ball, but most of us could care how we get in the fairway as long as we get there, fade or draw, the short grass is the goal. This driver will let you find the short grass. The sound isn't explosive but closer to the sound of Callaway's FT5, sort of a doink. Not unpleasant, just different. The Titleist Spec Grid 67 shaft works perfectly for me, good snap, good trajectory, and excellent feel. I was hitting the new Burner, too closed face for me, though very good if you slice. Than tried the Ping G10 with a V2 High Launch regular, what a dog. The shaft is really lousy, don't expect it to feel like the regular V2. The D1 is by far the straightest driver with tons of forgiveness; I know a Titleist with forgiveness, but it's true. It is also as long as anything else on the market, for me a tad bit longer that the Burner or G10. I think the shorter shaft on the D1, 45" as compared to 46" is why I got more distance, better clubface contact. It is nice to be able to swing a club without worrying about swinging to fast. The longer shafted drivers demand long, smooth, and slow or forget it. If you want a driver that will put you deep in the fairway try this one out. After the second or third time you hit it, you forget about the odd shape and like the way it helps alignment. This would be five stars easy except for the price, don't understand why it is so much more expensive without adjustable weighting.
