TaylorMade Supersteel Drivers

TaylorMade Supersteel Drivers

DESCRIPTION

SuperSteel is stronger than the steel traditionally used in metalwoods, enabling both the club head and sweetspot to be larger. this allows for thinner face walls that transfer more power to the ball. The result is increased velocity and a more explosive hitting area for more distance.

This is one of the best steel woods ever made. I paid 275 CDN for mine, as Taylor Made brought down the price because of their new 300 series. The club has great feel, and has good ball flight (not too high or too low).

As for distance, I hit this about 265-270 on average (I am 14). I can hit a 320 about 280. I don't really think that that extra 10 yards is worth the 300 dollars (or more) that I would have to pay for it.

As compared to the Callaway Steelhead Plus. I like the Taylor Made alot more. The Callaway has a dead feel to it, and the head twists really easily and has no stability.

I would recommend this club to anybody, but TRY EVERYTHING before you buy. If you do decide on this club. Try every possible shaft and loft before making your decision, because it can make a huge difference. Happy Shopping!!!

I could never justify spending $400cdn on a driver but as luck would have it, I won this Taylor Made driver and it's sweet to hit and very forgiving. I rarely have bad drives off the tee and can just as easily use it in the fairway. Nice to have a driver that I can use with confidence. The other driver i really like is the Wilson and Ping.

I tried the SuperSteel but the Supersteel 250 is the best driver I have ever hit. I usually hook my drives but now they go straight and longer than ever!!

This is the most reliable driver I have ever owned. It is much more accurate than a Big Bertha. It produces good distance and great accuracy. Easiest to hit of any driver I have tried.

Model Reviewed: Super Steel 9.5 degree

I am a very marginal golfer trying to improve my game after many years of play. This club is very easy to control and hits straight. I have hit 100+ balls with it and can't believe the improvement to my drive game. It seems to be very lenient on the marginal golfer like myself.

Model Reviewed: Super Steel Driver 10.5 with offset

Tired of consistently slicing my drive wide to the right, I traded in my Taylor Made Ti Bubble 2 10.5 degree driver (regular shaft)on the purchase of a Taylor Made Super Steel Driver 10.5 degree with offset and a stiff shaft. The very first time I played, I hit the fairway on 10 of 14 holes. Three others missed by only a few feet and I only had one slice when I tried to muscle the drive. I am very impresed with this driver. I am consistently hitting it straight. Of all the clubs I have purchased, this by far has resulted in the most significant improvement.
