TaylorMade Supersteel Drivers

TaylorMade Supersteel Drivers

DESCRIPTION

SuperSteel is stronger than the steel traditionally used in metalwoods, enabling both the club head and sweetspot to be larger. this allows for thinner face walls that transfer more power to the ball. The result is increased velocity and a more explosive hitting area for more distance.

This is a great driver. It has both distance and feel. I tried every driver in the stores and nothing compares. It has a nice sound and it goes a long way. This is a great driver for all golfers.

This club is a definite improvement. The Bubble Shaft really allows my swing to gain it's full power and the steel makes a refreshing 'tink' when you hit the ball. I found this club to be very forgiving on my off center hits and the ability to work the ball is phenomenal (I now can work a hook when before i was a consistent slicer) Distance is an improvement and this club really looks great at address, lineup is good and easy. This is simply the best steel club out there. More forgiving, better distance, and better price than the callaway

Model Reviewed: Supersteel 12deg R-80

Overall very good club, against the firesole trajectory was better and ball flight & length more consistant. I have a swing speed of 93mph and the R-80 is definately better than the S-90 for me, the S-90 does not release as well. Although i did not go for this driver as i found the flight a bit high and inability to shape the shot, consistancy was amongst the best of them. Was suprised there is only 1 review of this club, far better than the firesole IMO. Having tried 12 different makes of club this and the ping 3i (12deg) stand out the most, only reason i went for the ping was its far better to draw the ball with and can easily be played off the fairway.

Solid feel, enough feedback, consistant distance(250-270).
and all that said with a stock bubble shaft! $190.00, you do the math.

before i forget, i also tried the firesole, same results so why spend the extra $$.

Excellent Driver! I had bought the 3 wood because I was afraid to hit a driver. Then after using the 3 wood once, I went out and bought the driver. Played my best game ever to date using the driver. Excellent club!

Very good sounding club. I have a major slice and the off-set clubhead really straighted me out. My drive we about 270- 290 yard. I had the 80 stiffness graphite shaft and i love it. Great all aroung club.

This club has been great. I have a 10.5 degree Reg-flex shaft, I wouldn't trade if for the world. I have hit shots over 290 yards (big feat since i am only 14). I have had no trouble controling my drives, and I can even hit it strait off the fairway. Very highly recomended, especially considering the price.

I hit this club very good the first couple of times, but then starting to play 4 times a week i couldn't get the ball up. I have a draw and the club brings it out and my ball started hooking. A good club for people who fade.

Model Reviewed: Taylor Made Supersteel 250- Rifle Shaft

No more 280 yard drives but 260 yards all day long in the center of the fairway. This is the most consistent driver I've ever hit (85 %fairways over last for round with this club. The S-90 Rifle shaft is superior to any graphite (my swing speed is 105 mph). The 3 wood is also a great club. If your looking to lower that score with more consistency these two clubs with the Rifle shafts will do it. No sizzle only true performance
