Love this driver. Tried the new HS9 which was long but I couldn't get over the dull contact sound. The R7 is very forgiving and will help keep all but the very worst swings in check. I purchased this driver online for below retail and am more than happy.

LIke the teaching pro and golf club store salesmen told me, it's the #1 club used on the pro circuit and bought amongst the public! A proven winner of a driver with a great reputation. I bought the 9.5 with a stiff shaft set to draw. Have had it for about a month and have found the taylor made golf God! Unbelievable driver for me. Long and always straight with the draw set up. Tried Cobra HS9 and Callaway Fusion several times along with R7 prior to buying, for over a month at driving range for true chracteristic of each club. R7 came out number one for me. 8 out of 10 drives were perfectly straight on average of 275 yds with roll.
The sweet sound of this driver lets you know when you crushed it. HS9 and Fusion didn't do it for me as far as sound and performance at the driving range. HIghly recomend you try a driver on a driving range to get a real feel for any driver before you buy. The indoor drives you hit at a store against a net don't cut it.
Fortunately, Golf Mart in Foster City Calif lets you try out clubs on their driving range weather you buy or not with a DL and credit card held as security.

Model Reviewed: TaylorMade R7 460 with a ladies flex

I'm the sort of person who looks for variation (but i play mostly pings)...boy did i find it...before i purchased this ladies flex driver...i tried everything and anything from the worst to the best...
I tried Nike, Yonex, Cleveland, ping etc.

After a few tries of different driver my mind was made it was definately ping but they didn't have the normal one just an offset so i wanted to wait but later my dad pulled out this r7 ladies flex out the stand, im so glad he did.

This driver is simply the best..my shots were more consistant than ever.(im a straight hitter mostly but not consistant)Not only that but thin shots i hit shot like space rockets and i could hit the ball about 40 yard longer...

Gosh this is such a great driver...!!!

This Club is by far the longest i've ever hit.Bought it in R flex 9.5 with Reax shaft on Neutral Bias and its been amazing.Used to hit my old driver about 240-250, now I hit it about 280-290 and straight as an arrow.Wolud definately reccommend it to any golfer who wants to gain more distance off their drives.

The R7 460 with the reax stiff shaft is by far the best driver on the market.. The ball pops off the face of this driver with a smooth pleasing sound.. It takes about 20 balls to get used to the shaft, but after that, wow. Provides a piercing trajectory that seems to fly forever.

Awesome club! I buy clubs like most buy golf balls, but this driver will be in my bag for a long time. I never played a more forgiving driver. I chose to go with the purple ice stiff shaft, and it was a wise choice. My Titleist driver was slightly longer, but was no way near as consistant. I highly recommend this driver.

If you're looking for a club that offers maximum forgiveness and almost little to no effort this is the club for you.

I kid you not. I used to own the R7 Quad, which has a smaller club-face, and it had a Stiff shaft. This meant, I had to speed up my swing in order to remain square at impact. This let to inconsistent drives that left me w/ either a difficult lie or confusion on my swing plane.

So, in the end, I decided to trade the Quad in for the 360. This time I went w/ a Regular shaft and 10.5 loft (Quad was a 9.5). The results were awesome! I could take a very smooth and effortless swing and find the results very satisfying. I also found that even by slightly speeding up my down-and-through swing the ball flight was high and long.

Had been using r580xd for a while. Very good club, very long but now non-conforming. Bought R7 460. Excellent accuracy, feel etc except no distance and no roll even on low draws and perfect hits. Tried various shaft combos always the same result. Tried r5 dual N with exactly the same result. Now using Ping G5, much longer not as accurate.

This is BY FAR the best driver I have ever hit. It is extremely forgiving, very long, and feels great at impact. I have never hit so many fairways in my life! A must buy for all golfers.
