This driver is awesome. I was hitting the Cobra SZ 440 before and loved it.. This new driver is by far much better. I hit it long and straight without even trying. I highly recommend it |

Taylormade Burner
I have now been playing the Burner for several weeks now and I am very pleased. It took me a little time to get the swing correct; easy means farther. I still slice from time to time, but I know it is my swing and I am taking lessons. That was a very interesting comment about the dent on the bottom of the club near the heel. I have the same thing happen and I know I do not slam my club around. I do occassionally hit behind and the behind the ball and the club goes through the ground, but I have never had a club dent like this. Great Club! Similar Products Used: I used a Talormade driver from the 80's. This is a good club, but the club head is so small and the Burner gets a better hit every time. |

It's been awhile since I have posted a review because I am not easily impressed. I just found a driver that I had to comment on.

Awesome!!! Traded my R5N Dual for this driver after hitting it at the range. 10.5 degree stiff shaft has me hittin the ball 20-30 yards longer, and I have to try and make it not go within 10-15 yards within where I am aiming. You must hit this club, and you will be convinced! Customer Service Excellent! Replaced a PW shaft that got accidentally crushed by a golf cart free of charge (shipping only). BURNER
I BOUGHT THIS CLUB TODAY,10.5 DEGREE WITH REG SHAFT. I SWING ABOUT 90.. FIRST TESTED ON LAUNCH MONITOR WITH IMPRESSIVE RESULTS CONSIDERING ITS AN INDOOR SITUATION... WENT HOME,PUT NEW GRIP ON AND PLAYED. HAVE TO ADMIT,THIS CLUB IS AT LEAST 20 YARDS LONGER THAN MY R-5WHICH I HAVE BEEN HITTING LONG AND STRAIGHT FOR 3 1/2 YEARS NOW.I AM NOT QUICK TO CHANGE SOMETHING THATS WORKING GOOD..ON A SHORT PAR 4, I USUALLY PLAY 3 WOOD, 262 YARD PAR 4 SO I CAN BE ASSURED OF EASY FAIRWAY BECAUSE HOLE IS REAL TIGHT AT THE 230 MARK,LOTS WATER,TREES.. I HIT THE BURNER WITHOUT ANY ENERGY AND BALL WENT 230 EFFORTLESSLY!! AND STRAIGHT!!! I AM DEEPLY IMPRESSED WITH THIS CLUB AND GLAD I TOOK THE AT FIRST RELUCTANT CHANCE!! I am not sure how so many people are hitting this driver long and straight. To me, with my swing, it is a hooking machine. I order to hit it straight I had to open the face and try to hit a fade, w/o much success. On the upside, my friend who ususally hits a slice is able to hit this club well. Customer Service Great, purchased off e-bay after one day of use the club head was rattling. Talyor made aggreed to send a new club.

Great Driver. I was playing with the Ping Rapture and before that the Cleveland Hibore XL. The ping launches way too high for me so I traded it in for a Burner and couldn't be happier. This club is easy to launch down the middle. Do yourself a favor and try it before you buy a new driver. You will thank yourself for trying your next driver. |

Burner Driver
Bought a new Burner on ebay with a Reg Flex Aldila proto shaft. ($190.00) This is the easiest to swing driver I have ever hit. No fake claims here on distance. My normal drive is 230-250 depending on conditions. This driver goes about the same distance as my last driver (XR-03) with Reg flex Aldila NV shaft. The big difference is I hit the ball the same distance with less effort. When I set this thing up behind the ball, for some reason, I am very confident (the graphics on the crown take some getting used to) and just take a nice easy swing and the ball just explodes off the face (love that description). The big difference is that when I need a little extra distance (Reachable par 5) I know I have some reserve to reach back to and get those extra 20 yards or so if the situation dictates. I can swing a little harder than normal for that extra distance without losing control. I have the 10.5 loft, the ball flight is very high and nice looking, it shoots high, and just keeps carrying. Get fit for the right shaft and loft for you, this is the best driver I have ever hit, and believe me I have tried them all, I am a junkie (golf) Customer Service Havent had to use it. |

This is a excellent club for my game. You should try it before you buy a new driver. Regular flex accomodates a wide range of swing speeds from 70 to 105 mph.
Customer Service Bought it at a demo day for $274.00. Similar Products Used: Cobra 460 2005 model, Titliest 2002 model. |

GREAT DRIVER! I got launch monitored and this was the best amongst all the drivers I tried (Nike, Callaway, Titleist, Cleveland, MacGregor, R7, Adams, Ping). I used to hit 260-275 drives w my MacTec NVG2 Pro. The Burner launch monitored at 280 and consistently straight w a slight draw. The first time I took it to driving range for a full session I was hitting the top 1/3 of the back fence net that sits at 275, so I estimate I was carrying at least 300. I little set up change prompted by the length and lie of the club probably didn't hurt. Can't wait to take this out for a round this weekend. Customer Service N/A Similar Products Used: As above. |
