Pro C.O.R 320 9.5* (LH)
Finally decided to spring for a new driver to match my Snake Eyes irons. After reading the reviews here, I bought the Pro C.O.R. head and the matching shaft in 105+ mph. I also had the shaft PURed. Tip trimmed the shaft 1", installed 7 grams in the weight port and final clublength of 45.5" and swingweight of D9. Put on a Winn XF and it was a done deal. The club looks fantastic. Went to the range this afternoon (55 degrees in January ?!?!) to try it out. This thing is a rocket launcher. It replaces a Cleveland QuadPro Ti (same loft, ProLite 35 shaft). I picked up an average of about 15 yards of carry. Mis hits are not bad at all, you don''t lose much unless you really mess it up. This is a great club at an unbeatable price. Customer Service First rate. Tech support is also great. Similar Products Used: Cleveland QuadPro, Steelhead Plus, Warbird. |

My search for the perfect driver is over! This is is a real hammer. I am a strong player and like to grip it and rip it. This club allows you to do that and send it way out in center field. I put it together with a pured Truetemper EI-70 tour stiff shaft. This is a great combo but i''''m sure any of the high quality shafts will do just fine, but spend the extra few bucks and get the shaft pured! This is not a gimick, I have had it done to all of my woods and no doubt you can tell the diference. Also, other people have mentioned it, and it is true, tee the ball low. I used to use the extra long tees with my previous driver, but found this club works best with he ball tee''''d lower, with the top of the ball about the same height as the middle of the club face. Do yourself a favor put one of these beauties together for yourself! Customer Service Great as always. Similar Products Used: Callaway Bigest Big Trident 400 cc |

Snake Eyes Fireforged Pro COR 9 degree

None In the past, my driver existed to get me in trouble. With hope alive, I spent the money when the Titleist 975D came out and had several in varied lofts. Bought the Snake Eyes club in frustration. I assembled this club myself, which was a lot easier putting shafts in w/o the bore-through of the Titleist (that I also reshafted). The Snake Eyes driver that I ended up with is 9 degrees, 44" long, and puts the ball out there both longer and straighter than anything I have used previously. To be certain, I believe the shaft matters more than the head, but with this modestly priced head, you won''t be fueling the corporate jets at Callaway, Titleist, et. al and can experiment. The shaft I have on it is the Aldila HM 2000 Tour in stiff flex. Customer Service Golfsmith is A+++ by mail and the same at the store. None This driver rocks! This past summer I hit em'' all; Callaway, Titleist, Ping, narrowed it down to the Orlimar HipTi when a buddy of mine put the Fire Forged Pro Core in my hands. WOW! Out performs all the above mentioned sticks by 20 yards, and the best part is its $250 cheaper. Mine is the 11 degree model on a UST Proforce Gold 65 shaft, R flex. Swing weighted at D-2, 44 inches long. I was averageing between 245-255 yards with my Callaway GBB but now I''m hitting drives 265-275 yards with a few reaching 300 yards. It looks great, has a great sound, and feels sweet. Oh yea, you can work the ball too. In my opinion you will not find a better driver for the money anywhere. Do yourself a favor, put one of these in your bag. Customer Service Golfsmith is one of the most friendly outlets you will find. Similar Products Used: Callaway Great Big Bertha |

One mighty fine driver! Very easy to set up, pleasent to swing. Im able to hit more fairways with less effort then with any other driver, also I get great distance. Averaging 270 yards. Hit a couple of 290 yarders in a round. Highly recommend it to any golfer, definitely a game improvemnt club.
