FF 320 PRO COR 10° / Aldila HM-40 UL (R)
I''ve tried probably a dozen drivers over the past year, from Callaway, Taylor Made, Ping, Titleist, and more, but could not justify the prices they were charging. So I also tried a bunch of knockoff clubs, but they felt cheap, looked cheap, and didn''t perform as well as I''d hoped. I''d been using a SE Elasteel driver with a 90gm graphite shaft -- very workable, hot, but only a 230cc head, and that 90gm shaft seemed too heavy for me. This club is my answer. The FF 320cc version (conforming) in 10 degree, with Aldila HM-40 Tour Gold UL shaft (65gm), R flex. I swing ~ 90-95mph, and the shaft is right on the edge of being too flexible for me, but the low-torque keeps it working well. 45", SW ~ D0. This driver is easily 15 yds longer than my Elasteel, and much more forgiving on mis-hits. I have ultimate confidence that I''m going to hit it somewhere good on the clubface. Drives are penetrating, with surprising velocity off the face, carry long and roll a bit. I was hitting 225-250 yd drives -- now I''m hitting 240-270 yard drives. It''s longer than any OEM club I tested. Good titanium sound. IMHO, easily the equal of any big-name club. I''d recommend getting your shaft PUREd by whoever builds your club -- it''s a great feature. I''ve tried this head with Penley, EI-70, BiMatrix, Rifle and Grafalloy shafts. Results are the same - HUGE and very forgiving. Great titanium sound when you hit the sweet spot. I tend to snap hook when I get quick and this driver really reduces the effect. I can hit it all over the face and it still carries 260, rolls another 15 w/100mph swing speed. The same swing with my 975D was giving 15 yards less. For not a lot of money, this is one hell of a club. Customer Service The best in the business. I purchased the components and built the club myself with the matching fire forged graphite shaft (90-105) 11 degree loft. Very solid club, great sound, nice ball flight and carry - plus it looks great. Customer Service Very helpful people at golfsmith (Dallas - Midway location). I''ve been building clubs as a hobby for ~10 years, and playing golf for 25. After reading the reviews about this club on this site I decided to build one. For me, it was love at first sight, sound and feel...and the climax came with its performance. Exceptional distance and extremely forgiving. It''s easily the best driver I''ve ever hit, and wouldn''t trade it with any other. Since building mine, I''ve made a couple more with different shafts (aldila, Grafalloy and Penley...3.1 to 4.5 torque) and it works great on each stick. Customer Service I''ve always been pleased with the customer service at Golfsmith. Similar Products Used: Callaway, Cleveland, Taylor Made |

Tried this club and i am giving it a low rating. Nothing compared to a Launcher, but if you are cheap and an 80''s to 90''s hacker you might like it. Definity for beginners. Customer Service na Similar Products Used: everything |

PRO COR 360
This is the 4th driver I''ve built in the last 5 years, and I think it''ll be the last. I built it with a Grafalloy Prolite EX Distance Shaft, a WINN grip, and a D-4 swingweight. This is the most consistant and easy to hit driver by far. I''m now hitting this driver on everything except the par 3''s. My last driver only came out of the bag 3-4 times a round at most, and that was only if I didn''t leave it in the trunk. I tee it up high (I added 2-3/4" tee''s to my bag), and it seems as long as I hit it anywhere on the club face, the ball ends up down the fairway. I''m even consistantly hitting a draw instaed of my old slice. Similar Products Used: GS Titanium Bi-Metal, GS CERMET 2000, GS XPC3 |

My biggest problem was distance off the tee, but balls just blast off the face of this driver & my slice/fade shot pattern has even straightened out. This thin driver face technology is for real & this club is a bargain for your $$. Similar Products Used: Cleveland VAS Ti |

this driver is an absolute hammer, i had it cut to 44 1/2 inches w/ the stiff FF shaft and the snake eyes winn grip. i''m not a hard swinger 95 mph, but i"m getting carrys of 250. great driver, even on misses u can still get 225 and the head is very forgiving, i am an 18 handicapper on a very tight and wooded home course which reqires driver on many holes, i plan on being a twelve w/ this driver in my bag. This club is remarkable. The first time that I hit the club I was amazed. It has a great feel and is very long. Easy to draw and fade at will. I constantly brag about this club to my golf buddies. It''s very cost efficient and is worth 4 times what you pay. Excellent club. Customer Service good Similar Products Used: Taylormade Firesole, Golfsmith TG system, Callaway Hawkeye pro series |
